The film is directed by Philippe Falardeau (Monsieur Lazhar, The Good Lie) and stars Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts, Elisabeth Moss, Jim Gaffigan, Michael Rapaport, Pooch Hall, Morgan Spector and Ron Perlman. The movie tells the true story of former New Jersey heavyweight boxer and womanizer Chuck Wepner who boxed 15 rounds with Muhammad Ali and inspired Sylvester Stallone to write Rocky. Jeff Feuerzeig(The Devil and Daniel Johnston), Jerry Stahl (Bad Boys II, Hemingway & Gellhorn) and Michael Cristofer (The Witches of Eastwick) have written the screenplay. ‘David Brent: Life on the Road’ Soundtrack Announced

Juxtaposition Records will release a soundtrack album for the mockumentary David Brent: Life on the Road. The album features the songs from the film performed by Ricky Gervais’ title character & Foregone Conclusion, including a collaboration with Chris Martin of Coldplay. The soundtrack will be released overseas on August 19, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. David Brent: Life on the Road is written and directed by Gervais and stars himself, alongside Ben Bailey Smith, Doc Brown, Andy Burrows, Tom Basden, Nina Sosanya,Tom Bennett and Andrew Brooke. The comedy takes place 15 years after the events of The Office TV series and follows Brent as he takes a holiday to tour with his band Foregone Conclusion but has to use his pension to fund part of his rock concert. Dominik Scherrer has been tapped to score the Amazon original series The Collection. The show is created Oliver Goldstick (Pretty Little Liars) and stars Richard Coyle, Tom Riley, Frances de la Tour, Mamie Gummer, Max Deacon, Irène Jacob, Michael Kitchen and James Cosmo. The drama is set after World War II and centers around an illustrious Paris fashion house, emerging from the dark days of the Occupation, now ushering in a new golden age of design and business. Goldstick is also executive producing the Lookout Point and Artis Pictures production with Anne Thomopoulos (Rome, Camelot), Kate Croft, Pascal Breton, Simon Vaughan (War And Peace, Parade’s End), Médéric Albouy and Toma de Matteis. George Kallis is set to compose the music for the upcoming family drama And Then There Was Light. The film is written and directed by Castille Landon and stars Amy Smart, Burt Reynolds, Jack Griffo and AJ Michalka. The movie centers on a young girl who struggles after a traumatic horse riding accident causes her to lose her eyesight and is introduced to Apple, a miniature horse as her companion and surrogate eyes. Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the BBC natural history documentary The Hunt executive produced by Alastair Fothergill, produced by Huw Cordey and narrated Sir David Attenborough. The show’s original music is composed by Steven Price (Gravity, Suicide Squad, Fury, Attack the Block, At World’s End) who received the BAFTA TV Craft Award for his work on the series earlier this year. Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score overseas last year. The domestic album release is set for July 8. The film is directed by Christopher Menaul (Summer in February, The Forsyte Saga) and stars Jenny Seagrove, Ronan Keating, Julian Kostov, John Hannah, Amanda Abbington, Susan Hampsire and Peter Wight. The movie is set during World War II, when the island of Jersey was occupied by the Nazis and tells the true story of Louisa Gould, who took in an escaped Russian POW and hid him over the course of the war. Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action adventure The Legend of Tarzan directed by David Yates and starring Alexander Skarsgård, Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, Djimon Hounsou, John Hurt, Jim Broadbent and Christoph Waltz. The film’s original music is composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Over the Hedge, Bee Movie, Hotel Rwanda, Click). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as two original songs by Hozier and Zoe Mthiyane. Also opening wide is the fantasy adventure The BFG directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Mark Rylance, Ruby Barnhill, Jemaine Clement, Rebecca Hall, Penelope Wilton, Rafe Spall and Bill Hader. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marco Beltrami (World War Z, Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, The Wolverine, The Shallows). The soundtrack will be released on August 5, 2016 by Sony Classical and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
