A soundtrack album will be released for the British indie romantic drama Around the Sun. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steven Gutheinz (Night of the Living Deb, Why We Ride). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 22 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Around the Sun is directed by Oliver Krimpas and stars Cara Theobold and Gethin Anthony. The movie is set at a repossessed chateau in France and follows a film location scout who falls for its flirtatious representative, who recounts the story of an influential book written there. The film is directed by Tyler Gillett & Matt Bettinelli-Olpin (Devil’s Due) and stars Samara Weaving, Andie MacDowell, Adam Brody, Mark O’Brien and Henry Czerny. The movie centers on a young bride as she joins her new husband’s rich, eccentric family in a time-honored tradition that turns into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival. Blake Neely & Sherri Chung are scoring the upcoming CBS limited series The Red Line. The show is created by Caitlin Parrish & Erica Weiss and stars Noah Wyle, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Noel Fisher, Howard Charles, Aliyah Royale, Michael Patrick Thornton, Vinny Chhibber and Elizabeth Laidlaw. The 8-part drama follows three very different Chicago families as they journey toward hope and healing after a tragedy causes them all to consider how race and racial biases affect their lives. The film is directed by James Bobin (The Muppets, Muppets Most Wanted) and stars Isabela Moner, Eugenio Derbez, Eva Longoria, Michael Peña, Jeffery Wahlberg, Nicholas Coombe, Madeleine Madden, Adriana Barraza, Q’orianka Kilcher, Pia Miller and Temuera Morrison. Benicio del Toro also stars as the voice of Swiper. The movie is based on Nickelodeon’s animated TV series and follows the title character as she has to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost Inca civilization. Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish thriller 70 Big Ones (70 Binladens). The album features the film’s original music composed by Fernando Velazquez (The Impossible, The Orphanage, Mama, A Monster Calls, Devil, Hercules, Crimson Peak). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check the full track list and listen to out audio samples. A CD version will be coming out later this month. 70 Big Ones is directed by Koldo Serra and stars Emma Suárez, Nathalie Poza, Hugo Silva, Bárbara Goenaga, Daniel Pérez Prada, Kandido Uranga and Susana Abaitua. The show is created by Nick Antosca & Michelle Dean based on an original Buzzfeed article by Dean and stars Patricia Arquette, Joey King, Chloë Sevigny, AnnaSophia Robb and Calum Worthy. The first season of the anthology series follows a girl trying to escape the toxic relationship she has with her overprotective mother and opens a Pandora’s box of secrets, one that ultimately leads to murder. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Carbonara (Mad Men, The Guru, Spanking the Monkey, Are You Here, The Romanoffs). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 15 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe is directed by Laurie Collyer and stars Kelli Garner, Susan Sarandon, Emily Watson, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Eva Amurri Martino. The 2-parter explores Monroe’s complicated relationships with her mother, foster mother and legal guardian, her struggles with mental illness and her ties with the Kennedys. Danny Elfman & Chris Bacon have been tapped to score the upcoming sci-fi comedy Men in Black: International. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton, The Italian Job) and stars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Rebecca Ferguson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall, Laurent Bourgeois, Larry Bourgeois, Emma Thompson and Liam Neeson. The movie follows the title characters as they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organization. Art Marcum & Matt Holloway (Iron Man) wrote the screenplay. Walt Disney Records has released Arcade Fire‘s cover of the song Baby Mine from Tim Burton’s live-action film adaptation of Disney’s Dumbo. The track was originally written by Frank Churchill and Ned Washington for the studio’s 1941 animated movie and was newly recorded for the end credits sequence of the remake. The song is being released as a digital single today and is now available to download on Amazon. Listen to the full track after the jump.
