David Buckley is composing the music for the upcoming remake of the 1973 classic Papillon. The film is directed by Michael Noer (RNorthwest) and stars Charlie Hunnam, Rami Malek, Tommy Flanagan, Michael Socha and Nikola Kent. The movie is a modern retelling of the original, which was based on the memoirs of convicted felon and fugitive Henri Charriere. Aaron Guzikowski (Prisoners) wrote the screenplay. Joey McFarland & Riza Aziz (The Wolf of Wall Street), David Koplan, Ram Bergman (Looper, Brick) and Roger Corbi are producing the project. Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the horror thriller Jasmine. The album features the film’s original music composed by Shie Rozow (RebelBallistica). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 14, 2017. The download link will be added this article within the next few weeks. Jasmine is co-written and directed by Dax Phelan and stars Jason Tobin, Byron Mann, Grace Huang, Eugenia Yuan, Glen Chin and Sarah Lian. Jeff Russo has been hired to score the upcoming biographical comedy drama I, Tonya. The film is directed by Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl, Fright Night) and stars Margot Robbie as figure skater Tonya Harding, Sebastian Stan as her spouse Jeff Gillooly, Allison Janney as her mother Lavona, as well as Paul Walter Hauser, Mckenna Grace, Caitlin Carver and Julianne Nicholson. The movie centers around Harding’s attack on rival Nancy Kerrigan, which was aimed at breaking Kerrigan’s leg so she couldn’t compete in the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. The full details of the first soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series Castlevania have been revealed. The album the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Trevor Morris (ImmortalsVikingsIron FistOlympus/London Has FallenThe Borgias). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 7, 2017 and physically a few weeks later. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD. Castlevania based on the Konami video games is developed by comic book writer Warren Ellis and features the voices of Richard Armitage, James Callis, Graham McTavish, Alejandra Reynoso, Matt Frewer and Tony Amendola. Joseph LoDuca has been hired to score the upcoming horror thriller Cult of Chucky. The film is written and directed by Don Mancini and stars Alex Vincent who reprises his role as Andy Barclay from the original Child’s Play movie, we well as Jennifer Tilly, Tiffany and Fiona Dourif. Brad Dourif is returning as the voice of Chucky. The movie follows the title character as he returns to terrorize his human victim, Nica and has some scores to settle with his old enemies, with the help of his former wife. Ogden Gavanski, David Kirschner are producing the project. Fall Out Boy member Patrick Stump has recently composed the original score for the upcoming animated feature Gnome Alone. The film is directed by Peter Lepeniotis (The Nut Job) and features the voices of Becky G, Josh Peck, Olivia Holt and George Lopez. The movie centers on a girl who discovers her new home’s garden contains gnomes and teams up with them to fight the menacing Troggs that threaten to overrun the house. Stump is also providing his voice to multiple roles and also wrote an original song to be performed by Becky G. Michael Schwartz and Zina Zaflow wrote the screenplay. John H.
