Sony Music has announced a new soundtrack release for the 1984 classic Ghostbusters directed by Ivan Reitman and starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis and Rick Moranis. The album, which coincides with the movie’s 35h anniversary, features the film’s original score composed by Elmer Bernstein (The Magnificent Seven, To Kill a Mockingbird, Airplane, Far from Heaven), newly mixed and remastered from the score’s original multi-tracks, as well as new artwork, commentary from Elmer’s son, Peter Bernstein, and four previously unreleased tracks.
