Academy Award-nominated songwriter Diane Warren has written the original song Hide the Hurt for the documentary Cracked Up. The track is performed by Macy Gray and will be released as a digital single tomorrow, September 13 by Artistry Music and will be available to stream and download on Amazon Music. Warren who has been Oscar-nominated four out of the last five years has previously contributed original songs for this year’s Late Night, Breakthrough and Miss Bala. Cracked Up directed by Michelle Esrick follows the comedian, actor, and SNL icon Darrell Hammond and examines the lasting effects of childhood trauma. Milan Records and Sony Music Masterworks have announced a soundtrack album for the Netflix anime original series Seis Manos. The album features the selections of the show’s original music composed by Carl Thiel (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, The Teller and the Truth). Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s & Pearl Studios’ Abominable. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Hacksaw Ridge, The Legend of Tarzan, The Crown) who previously scored DreamWorks’ animated features Over the Hedge and Bee Season.
