Composer Adam Peters (Savages, Snowden, The Yellow Birds) is reuniting with director Bryan Fogel on the upcoming documentary The Dissident. The film centers on Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s disappearance after entering Saudi Arabia’s consulate in Istanbul and follows his fiancée and dissidents around the world as they are left to piece together clues to his brutal murder. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alexei Aigui (The Young Karl Marx, I Am Not Your Negro). The soundtrack will be released on January 6, 2020. Epic Records has released a soundtrack album for the Netflix animated film Klaus. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Alfonso Aguilar (Perdida, You Shall Not Sleep). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released the Zara Larsson-performed original song Invisible, which is also included on the full soundtrack album. Klaus is directed by Sergio Pablos and features the voices of Jason Schwartzman, J.K. Simmons, Rashida Jones, Joan Cusack, Will Sasso and Norm Macdonald. Two new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
