Notefornote Music will release a soundtrack album for the HBO documentary The Bronx, USA. The album features the original song Da Bronx written by Charles Fox with lyrics by Paul Williams and performed by Robert Klein and Donald Webber Jr. The track was one of the fifteen shortlisted original songs at this year’s Academy Awards. Also included are tracks by the movie’s composers Nathan East, John Robinson and Tom Scott, as well as well as other songs from the film. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 31, 2020 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Bronx, USA is directed by Danny Gold and follows producer George Shapiro as he returns to his hometown of the Bronx and reflects on the singularity of the borough he grew up in and the close friendships he made there that have stood the test of time.
