Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for Blue Sky Studios’ animated feature Spies in Disguise. The album features the film’s original music composed by Theodore Shapiro (The Devil Wears Prada, Captain Underpants, Ghostbusters, Bombshell, Tropic Thunder, Marley & Me). The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. As previously reported, RCA Records has released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie by Mark Ronson & others. Spies in Disguise is directed by Troy Quane & Nick Bruno and features the voice talent of Will Smith, Tom Holland, Ben Mendelsohn, Karen Gillan, Rashida Jones, DJ Khaled and Masi Oka. Dan Romer (Beasts of No Nation, Maniac, The Good Doctor, Atypical, Digging for Fire) has composed the original score for the upcoming drama Wendy. The film is directed by Benh Zeitlin and stars Devin France, Yashua Mack, Gage Naquin, Gavin Naquin, Ahmad Cage and Krzysztof Meyn. The movie is based on the classic story of Peter Pan and follows the title character as she must fight to save her family, her freedom, and the joyous spirit of youth from the deadly peril of growing up. The show is created by Kenya Barris (Black-ish, Girls Trip, Barbershop: The Next Cut) who also stars in the serires, alongside Rashida Jones. The comedy is described as “inspired by Barris’ irreverent, highly flawed, unbelievably honest approach to parenting, relationships, race, and culture.” Barris and Jones are also executive producing the Khalabo Ink Society production with Hale Rothstein. The film is directed by Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13, Solo: A Star Wars Story) and tells the story of the Paradise community as they begin to rebuild their lives following the most destructive wildfire in California history. The film is directed by Gabriel Range (Death of a Paradise, I Am Slave) and stars Johnny Flynn as David Bowie, Jena Malone as Bowie’s wife Angie and Marc Maron as publicist Rob Oberman. The movie follows the music icon as he embarks on his first road trip to America in 1971 and creates his Ziggy Stardust persona. Christopher Bell wrote the screenplay.
