Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for the 1981 comedy Neighbors directed by John G. Avildsen and starring John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Cathy Moriarty and Kathryn Walker. The movie revolves around a young woman leads a secret witch cult at a mall store, when a new hire starts to question their sisterhood, forcing them to confront inner darkness or meet violent ends. The album features the film’s original score composed by Kathryn Bostic (ClemencyWomen of the Movement, The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat, Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am, Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go for It). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by the Italian cinematic funk band Calibro 35 (Blanc, Sogni di Gloria).
