Composer Bryan Senti (Lowriders, Save Me, Experimenter, Mood) is reuniting with director Derrick Borte (Unhinged, The Joneses) on the upcoming action thriller The Get Out. The film is based on Thomas Perry’s novel Strip and stars Russell Crowe, Luke Evans, Teresa Palmer, Nina Dobrev, Josh McConville, Danny Zovatto and Aaron Paul. Taylor Swift has contributed an original song to Pixar Animation Studios’ upcoming sequel Toy Story 5. The track, entitled I Knew It, I Knew You , is co-written (with Jack Antonoff) and performed by Swift and will be released as a digital single this Friday, June 5. A limited edition CD edition (in three different versions) is now available for pre-order on Swift’s official website. TV Friends Forever has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature Heidi – Rescue of the Lynx. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ute Engelhardt (Maya the Bee Movie, Maya the Bee: The Honey Games & The Golden Herb, Vic the Viking and the Magic Sword). Music Box Records has released a new soundtrack album featuring two scores composed by Academy Award nominee Philippe Sarde (The Tenant, Tess, Lord of the Flies, Quest for Fire, Ghost Story, Barocco, Pirates, Nelly & Monsieur Arnaud). Titles include the world premiere release of the composer’s score from the 2010 Israeli drama The Matchmaker written and directed by Avi Nesher and starring Adir Miller & Tuval Shafir, as well as a remastered version of his music from the 1989 thriller Music Box directed by Costa-Gavras and starring Jessica Lange, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Frederic Forrest & Lukas Haas.
