The details of the soundtrack album for BBC’s Doctor Who spin-off series The War Between the Land and the Sea have been announced. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Top Gun: Maverick, Black Adam, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, The Wheel of Time). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, December 5 by Silva Screen Records (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). An additional track, Alison Goldfrapp’s & Balfe’s cover of David Bowie’s Heroes, will be released the following Friday, December 12. A physical version will be coming out next year. As previously reported, a first track (Barlcay’s Theme) is already available to stream/download now. Universal Music has released three soundtrack albums for Apple Corps’ remastered and expanded landmark, UK-produced original documentary series The Beatles Anthology. The albums featuring the Beatles songs from Episodes 1-3, Episodes 4-6 and Episodes 7-9 of the show are now available to stream on all major digital music services. Check out the track lists for each album below. The Beatles Anthology follows John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison & Ringo Starr as they revisit the highs and lows and twists and turns of The Beatles’ long and winding eight years as a band. The series was originally broadcast in 1995 in the U.S. on ABC and in the UK on ITV and has been restored and expanded from eight to nine episodes, including a footage restoration and sound mix overseen by the Apple Corps production team. Milan Records has released a new version of the song Blues by Brazilian artists Nina Becker & Marcelo Callado from the fifth episode (Got Milk) of the Apple TV original series Pluribus. The Pluribus Edit (produced by Becker & Callado and originally written for their collaboration album Gambito Budapeste) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music and can also be checked out after the jump. The label has previously released several songs from the show’s first four episodes as digital singles, as well as the first score album over the last couple of weeks. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Norwegian Netflix original film Troll 2. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Johannes Ringen (The Quake, The Arctic Convoy, Captain Fall, The Burning Sea, La Palma, Cave, Asphalt Burning) who previously scored the 2022 original Troll film. The details of the first volume of the soundtrack album for fifth season of the Netflix original series Stranger Things have been revealed. The album features eight songs from the first four episodes of the show’s final seasons, including Michael Jackson’s Rockin’ Robin, ABBA’s Fernando, The Psychedelic Furs’ Pretty in Pink, The Chordettes’ Mr. Sandman, Yello’s Oh Yeah, Tiffany’s I Think We’re Alone Now, The Chords’ Sh-Boom and Freddy Martin and His Orchestra’s To Each His Own. The cover art of the vinyl edition of the soundtrack album for James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash has been revealed. The album featuring the film’s original score composed by Simon Franglen (Avatar: The Way of Water, The Magnificent Seven, Avatar: World of Pandora), as well as the original song Dream As One performed by Miley Cyrus, will be released on vinyl on January 30. 2026 by Hollywood Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
