Hamburger Records has released a soundtrack album for the French/Belgiab drama Goodbye Cruel World (Adieu monde cruel). The album features the film’s original music composed by Arnaud Toulon (Arco). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Goodbye Cruel World is co-written and directed by Félix de Givry and stars Milo Machado-Graner, Jane Beever, Maïa Sandoz, Françoise Lebrun, Emmanuelle Destremau and Erwan Kepoa Falé. The movie revolves around a fourteen-year-old boy who has disappeared after writing a farewell letter to his classmates, when a girl from his school recognizes him one night wandering the city streets. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes’ Critics’ Week and was released in French theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
