Opening in select (drive-in) theaters and on VOD today is the animated sequel Trolls World Tour directed by Walt Dohrn and starring Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, Rachel Bloom, Kelly Clarkson, James Corden, Sam Rockwell, Ozzy Osbourne, George Clinton and Mary J. Blige. RCA Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie by Timberlake, Ludwig Goransson & others (click here for the full album details). Also opening on VOD is the horror thriller We Summon the Darkness directed by Marc Meyers and starring Alexandra Daddario, Johnny Knoxville, Keean Johnson, Maddie Hasson, Logan Miller, Amy Forsyth and Austin Swift. Timothy Williams (Brightburn, Walking with the Enemy, Red Sky, Wild Horses, Debug) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows a young woman and two girlfriends on the way to a heavy metal concert, when they hear a news report of a local murder believed to be tied to a series of satanic killings, is being released by Saban Films. Zarathustra Music has announced the digital release of Michael Collins – Live from Dublin. The EP features the first live performance of the music from the 1996 film composed by Academy Award winner Elliot Goldenthal (Frida, Heat, Alien 3, Interview with the Vampire, Batman Forever, S.W.A.T.) performed by the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, New Dublin Voices, Mick O’Brien, and conductor Ernst van Tiel. The music was recorded in June 2018 in Dublin, Ireland. Visit Amazon to purchase the digital EP. Def Jam Recordings has released the original song I Choose from the Netflix animated film The Willoughbys. The track is performed by Alessia Cara, produced by Jon Levine and co-written by Cara herself, the film’s composer Mark Mothersbaugh, director Kris Pearn, Jordyn Kane, Jason Rabinowitz, Mark Mothersbaugh, Brayden Deskins, Colton Fisher and Diana Studenberg. Cypress Hill member/percussionist Eric Bobo has made his feature film scoring debut on the new Netflix documentary LA Originals. The film is directed by Estevan Oriol and explores the culture and landmarks of the chicano and street art movement that cemented the director’s and photographer Estevan Oriol’s status as behind-the-scenes hip hop legends. The movie feature interviews with Snoop Dogg, Kobe Bryant, Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Pharrell,  Blink-182, Michelle Rodriguez, Cypress Hill, Wilmer Valderrama, George Lopez, among others. Tuscaloosa is co-written and directed by Philip Harder and stars Devon Bostick, Natalia Dyer, Marchånt Davis, Tate Donovan, YG, Ella Rae Peck and Birgundi Baker. The full details of the second soundtrack album for the final season of Lucasfilm’s animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth episode from Season 7 composed by Kevin Kiner (Star Wars Rebels, Doom PatrolCSI: Miami, Narcos: Mexico, TitansMaking a Murderer).  The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 10 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released, a soundtrack album featuring selections of Kiner’s score from the show’s first six seasons and another album featuring the composer’s music from the first four episodes of the final season.
