Polydor Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC drama This Town. The album features the songs from the show, including new covers created for the end credits of each episode by artists such as Celeste, Ray Laurél, Gregory Porter, Sekou and Olivia Dean. Also included are five songs performed by F**k The Factory – the band at the heart of series – created by Dan Carey, in collaboration with ESKA and Kae Tempest. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on April 26 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Self Esteem’s cover of Jimmy Cliff’s You Can Get It If You Really Want) is already available to stream/download now and can also be checked out below. Nicholas Pike (Critters 2, Return to Me, The Shining, Captain Ron, Fear Dot Com, Star Kid) has released a soundtrack album for the thriller Model House. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The 6-part crime thriller, follows a family man and proud owner of a luxury car service in New Orleans who – after his son is violently murdered – reunites with an old friend from his days as a wheelman and sends him on a collision course with a violent criminal syndicate, will air Sundays on AMC and will also be available to stream on AMC+.
Premiering tomorrow, April 1, is the HBO original documentary series The Synanon Fix directed by Rory Kennedy, executive produced by Nancy Abrahams, Lisa Heller & Mark Bailey about the rise and fall of the Synanon organization. Les Films du Clan has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Paternel. The album features the film’s original music composed by Björn Gottschall and Damien Tronchot (aka Pavane).
