Federico Jusid (The English, The Night Manager, A Gentleman in Moscow, The Secret in Their Eyes, A Thousand BlowsThe Penguin Lessons, MisconductThe Head) is the composer of the upcoming Apple TV original series Star City. The show is created by Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert & Ronald D. Moore (Outlander, Battlestar Galactica) inspired by the streamer’s For All Mankind (scored by Jeff Russo & Paul Doucette) and stars Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin, Agnes O’Casey, Alice Englert, Solly McLeod, Adam Nagaitis, Josef Davies, Ruby Ashbourne Serkis and Priya Kansara. The paranoid thriller takes place in an alternate universe, in which the Soviet Union became the first nation to put a man on the moon and explores the story from behind the Iron Curtain, showing the lives of the engineers, the cosmonauts, and the intelligence officers embedded among them in the Soviet space program. Wolpert, Nedivi & Moore are also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Maril Davis (Electric Dreams), Andrew Chambliss (Once Upon a Time, Fear the Walking Dead) and Steve Oster. Star City will premiere on May 29, 2026 exclusively on Apple TV.

Jusid’s other recent English language projects include Matt Black’s & Ryan Polly’s Monitor, which premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and has recently been picked up by Searchlight Pictures for a theatrical release in 2027. He is also expected to return to score the second season of MGM+’s Robin Hood.
