Plaza Mayor Company will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Life Ahead (La vita davanti a sé). The album features the original score from the film composed by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Judy, City of Angels, Message in a Bottle). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 13 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, WM Italy has released the film’s original song Io sì (Seen) written by Diane Warren and performed by Laura Pausini last month. ‘The Crown’ Season 4 Soundtrack Album Details

Sony Classical will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series The Crown. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Martin Phipps (Woman in Gold, War & Peace, The Honourable Woman, The Aftermath, Peaky Blinders, Harry Brown).) who previously scored Season 3, for which he received an Emmy Award nomination. The soundtrack is expected to be released digitally next week (click here to stream/download the album). A CD version is set to come out on November 20 and is now available for pre-order (as an import) on Amazon. The label has previously released three soundtrack albums featuring Rupert Gregson-Williams’ & Lorne Balfe’s music from Season 1 and Season 2 and Phipps’ score from Season 3. Composer Jon Ekstrand has teamed up with Carl-Johan Sevedag (aka OA) of the Swedish electronic pop duo Cape Lion to co-score the upcoming survival thriller Horizon Line. The film is directed by Mikael Marcimain (Call Girl, Gentlemen) and stars Allison Williams, Alexander Dreymon and Keith David. The movie follows a young woman who travelling to a friend’s tropical island wedding on a small single-engine plane, when the pilot suffers a heart attack and herself and the only other passenger, her ex-boyfriend, are forced to work together to stay airborne long enough to find land. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Piscitello (Becoming Bond, No Place on Earth, Mike Wallace Is Here, Memory Games).
