American High Records has released a soundtrack album for the comedy Banana Split. The album features the film’s original score composed by Annie Hart (Olympic Dreams). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Banana Split is directed by Benjamin Kasulke and stars Hannah Marks (who also co-wrote the screenplay), Liana Liberato, Dylan Sprouse and Addison Riecke. World Premiere Recording of Bernard Herrmann’s ‘Endless Night’ Score Announced

Quartet Records has announced the world premiere recording of the previously unreleased score for the 1972 horror mystery drama Endless Night directed by Sidney Gilliat, based on Agatha Christie’s novel of the same title and starring Hayley Mills, Britt Ekland, Hywel Bennett, Per Oscarsson and George Sanders. Reconstructed from the original manuscript by the film’s composer Bernard Herrmann (Psycho, Vertigo, Taxi Driver, Cape Fear, North by Northwest), the music is performed by the Basque National Orchestra and conducted by Fernando Velázquez (The Impossible, Mama, A Monster Calls), with original Moog synthesizer sessions played by Toni Saigi. The movie is directed by Simon Stone (The Daughter) and stars Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes, Lily James, Johnny Flynn, Ben Chaplin and Ken Stott. The drama is set in 1938 as World War II looms and follows a wealthy widow who hires an amateur archaeologist to excavate the burial mounds on her estate.
