‘Legion’ Season 3 Soundtrack Album Details

Hollywood Records will release a new soundtrack album for the FX original series Legion. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s third season composed by Jeff Russo (FargoStar Trek: Discovery & PicardThe Night OfThe Umbrella Academy). Also included are the composer’s and series creator Noah Hawley‘s cover versions of A Pagan Place, Can’t Get There from Here, Cinnamon Girl and Peace, Love & Understanding, as well as Russo’s cover of Pink Floyd’s Mother (performed by Dan Stevens & Stephanie Corneliussen) and the Jemaine Clement- & Jason Mantzoukas-performed Rap Battle. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music store. Silva Screen Records has announced the details of the new soundtrack album for the HBO/BBC series His Dark Materials. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – FalloutThe LEGO Batman Movie, Bad Boys for LifeThe Crown, HomeGenius). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Sunday, December 20 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. The label has previously released two concept albums featuring the composer’s principal themes from Season 1Season 2 and a full separate album featuring his score from the first season. Season 2 of His Dark Materials is based on The Subtle Knife, the second book in Philip Pullman’s fantasy trilogy, and stars Dafne Keen, Ruth Wilson, Lin Manuel-Miranda, Joe Tandberg, Ruta Gedmintas, Helen McCrory, Terence Stamp, Jade Anouka, Andrew Scott and Simone Kirby. The details of the new soundtrack albums for the CW superhero drama Arrow have been revealed. The albums feature selections of the show’s original music from the show’s final two seasons (7 & 8) composed by Blake Neely (The FlashRiverdaleSupergirl, Greyhound, The PacificThe Flight Attendant) & Nathaniel Blume (Prodigal Son, Deception). A soundtrack album has been released for the Scottish romantic comedy Lost at Christmas. The album features the film’s original score composed by Stephen Wright, as well as two original songs written by the composer and others songs performed by John Condron and Randolph’s Leap. The soundtrack is now available digitally in the UK (check out the video after the jump for a preview). Lost at Christmas is co-written and directed by Ryan Hendrick and stars Natalie Clark, Kenny Boyle, Sylvester McCoy, Frazer Hines, Sanjeev Kohli, Clare Grogan, Caitlin Blackwood and Karen Bartke. The movie is set at the remote Scottish town of Fort William and follows two strangers whose life is turned upside down when they suddenly find themselves heartbroken, single and stranded, and team up to try and reach home 100 miles away to be with their families. Marco Beltrami (A Quiet Place, Scream, The Hurt Locker, 3:10 to Yuma, World War Z, Ford v. Ferrari) has been hired to score the upcoming superhero movie Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film is directed by Andy Serkis (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, Breathe) and stars Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Reid Scott and Naomie Harris. Kelly Marcel (Saving Mr. Banks, Fifty Shades of Grey) wrote the screenplay. Avi Arad (Iron Man, The Amazing Spider-Man), Matt Tolmach (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle), Amy Pascal (Spiderman: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) and Hutch Parker (X-Men: Days of Future Past & Apocalypse) are producing the Marvel Entertainment and Tencent Pictures production. Cellist and singer/songwriter & composer Ben Sollee has teamed up with the string trio Time for Three to score the upcoming drama Land. The film marks the directorial debut of actress Robin Wright who also stars in the movie, alongside Demián Bichir and Kim Dickens. The movie centers on a cosmopolitan lawyer who is consumed by grief after enduring a personal tragedy and feels her only escape is to disappear from her life and live completely apart from the rest of humanity. The film is directed by Sion Sono (Love Exposure, Antiporno) and stars Nicolas Cage, Sofia Boutella, Nick Cassavetes, Bill Moseley, Tak Sakaguchi and Yuzuka Nakaya. The movie is set in the frontier city of Samurai Town and follows a ruthless bank robber who is sprung from jail to find the missing granddaughter of a wealthy warlord. Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, Moon, The Fountain, Noah) is reuniting with Ben Wheatley on the upcoming horror movie In the Earth. The film is written and directed by Wheatley (Sightseers, Free Fire) and stars Joel Fry, Ellora Torchia, Hayley Squires and Reece Shearsmith.  The movie revolves around a scientist and a park scout who venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run as a deadly virus ravages the world.
