Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the ITV mini-series Des. The album features the show’s original music composed by Sarah Warne (Prey, Humans, Dark Money, Time, She’s French, The Drowning). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 7, 2021 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other major digital music outlets. Des is written by Luke Neal & Kelly Jones based on the novel Killing For Company by Brian Masters and stars David Tennant, Daniel Mays, Jason Watkins, Alex Bhat, Jay Simpson, Gerard Horan and Ron Cook. The 3-parter directed by Lewis Arnold is based on real life events, the 1983 arrest of Scottish serial killer Dennis Nilsen and one of the most infamous criminal cases in UK history, and focuses on Nilsen’s capture and subsequent trial. John Williams to Score James Mangold’s ‘Indiana Jones 5’

Lucasfilm has confirmed today that John Williams is set to return as the composer of the currently untitled fifth installment in the Indiana Jones film series. The movie will be directed by James Mangold (Logan, Ford v. Ferrari, 3:10 to Yuma) and stars Harrison Ford in the title role, alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge. No other cast members or plot details have been announced yet. The composer was previously attached to score the fifth installment when Steven Spielberg was set to direct the film in 2016 . Spielberg is producing the new movie with Kathleen Kennedy (The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Frank Marshall (Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Sixth Sense) and Simon Emanuel (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Witcher). ‘Mortal Kombat’ Soundtrack Album Details

WaterTower Music has announced the full details of the soundtrack album for the new film adaptation of Mortal Kombat. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Grammy Award and Golden Globe nominee Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Blade Runner 2049, Shazam!, Annabelle Creation, Hidden Figures, Lights Out). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, April 16 and will be available to stream/download here. A CD version will be available to order on Amazon. As previously reported, the Wallfisch-produced and -performed Techno Syndrome 2021 remix from the film is already to stream/download now. Hollywood Records and Marvel Music have released the previously unreleased track Family TV Night from the eighth episode (Previously On) of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ original series WandaVision. The cue was missing from the official Episode 8 soundtrack album and is now available to stream/download as a digital single on all major digital music services (including Amazon). French singer/songwriter Matthieu Chedid is attached to compose the score for the upcoming live-action family comedy Asterix & Obelix: The Middle Kingdom. The film will be directed by Guillaume Canet (Little White Lies, Nous finirons ensemble) who also stars as Asterix, alongside Gilles Lellouche as Obelix, Vincent Cassel as Cesar, Marion Cotillard as Cleopatra and Jonathan Cohen as Finalthesis. Other cast members include Ramzy Bedia, Linh-Dan Pham, Julie Chen, Pierre Richard and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Philippe Mechelen (I Do: How to Get Married and Stay Single) and Julien Hervé wrote the screenplay based on the comic books created by René Goscinny & Albert Uderzo (Looking for Teddy). Details for ‘All American’ Seasons 1 & 2 Soundtrack Albums Revealed

The details of the first two soundtrack albums for the CW drama All American have been revealed. The Season 1 album features selections of the original score from the first season composed by Blake Neely (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, The Flight Attendant, Greyhound, The Pacific, Everwood), as well Chelsea Tavares’ cover of Leon Bridges’ River. The full details of the first soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have been revealed. The album features the original score from the first three episodes of the show composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Wreck-It-Ralph, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, X-Men: First Class, Big Hero 6). Also included is the Captain America Drum Corps’ performance of the Alan Menken-penned song Star Spangled Man from the second episode. The Vol. 1 soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 9 by Hollywood Records/Marvel Music and will be available to stream/download here (and any other major digital music stores).
