The full details of the soundtrack album for the drama Sound of Metal have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Abraham Marder & Nicolas Becker. Also included is Marder’s original song Green, which has previously been released as a digital single, two versions of the French song Cet Amour Me Tue performed by Arthur H’s & Martha Wainwright and actors Olivia Cooke & Mathieu Amalric, as well as Margaret Chardiet’s Purify and Riz Ahmed’s & Cooke’s performance of the track. The soundtrack is being released by Nonesuch Records and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. Nathan Halpern is composing the original music for the upcoming revenge thriller Catch the Fair One. The film is written and directed by Josef Kubota Wladyka (Dirty Hands) and stars Kali “KO” Reis, Daniel Henshall, Tiffany Chu, Kimberly Guerrero, Michael Drayer, Lisa Emery and Kevin Dunn. The movie tells the story of a former champion boxer who embarks on the fight of her life when she goes in search of her missing sister. Cleopatra Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Baphomet. The album features the film’s original score composed by Fabio Amurri (German Angst). Also included are songs by Align the Tide, Not My God, Skold, Luna 13 & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 14, 2021 and is now available for pre-order here. The album features the film’s original music composed by Colin Towns (The Puppet Masters, Rawhead Rex, Foyle’s War, Doc Martin, Maybe Baby, Pie in the Sky). Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross and Jon Batiste were honored with the Academy Award for their score for Pixar’s Soul at tonight’s 93rd Oscar ceremony. Reznor & Ross have previously received their first Oscar for their music for 2010’s The Social Network and were also nominated this year for their music for David Fincher’s Mank. The composers previously received the Golden Globe, Critic’ Choice Award and BAFTA Award for their work on the animated movie. Check out their acceptance speech after the jump.
