Joy Ngiaw Scoring Netflix’s ‘Glamourous’
Joy Ngiaw (Blush, Rescued by Ruby) has recently been scoring the upcoming Netflix original series Glamourous. The show is created by Jordon Nardino (Star Trek: Discovery, Quantico) and stars Miss Benny, Kim Cattrall, Zane Phillips, Jade Payton, Michael Hsu, Ayesha Harris and Graham Parkhurst. The drama tells the story of a young gender non-conforming queer man whose life seems to be stuck in place until he lands a job working for legendary makeup mogul.
‘Shadow and Bone’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Details
Netflix Music has announced the details of the second soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Shadow and Bone. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Witcher, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp, Straight Outta Compton, The Raid: Redemption). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, March 10 and will be available to stream/download here. A first track (Come Sail Away) is already available to stream/download now. The label has previously released a first album featuring Trapanese’s score from Season 1 back in 2021. Shadow and Bone is developed by Eric Heisserer based on Leigh Bardugo’s novels and stars Jessie Mei Li, Freddy Carter, Archie Renaux, Ben Barnes, Amita Suman, Zoë Wanamaker, Kit Young, Calahan Skogman, Danielle Galligan, Daisy Head, Patrick Gibson, Lewis Tan Jack Wolfe and Anna Leong Brophy.

The full details of the soundtrack album for the Hulu original series The Orville: New Horizons have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the third season of the Orville composed by Joel McNeely (A Million Ways to Die in the West, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Iron Will), John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Jungle Book, Iron Man 2, Elf), Andrew Cottee and Kevin Kaska (Ghost Party, Jump!). Also included is Bruce Broughton’s main title and end title theme, as well as the songs Flowers Never Bend With the Rainfall performed by Scott Grimes & Anne Winters and Secret O’ Life performed by Grimes. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the German Amazon original series Luden. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Julian Scherle (Missing, Buried: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche, Heart of the Champions, Princess of the Row). Luden is created by Niklas Hoffmann, Peter Kocyla & Rafael Parente and stars Aaron Hilmer, Jeanette Hain, Lena Urzendowsky, Noah Tinwa, Henning Flüsloh und Nicki von Tempelhoff. The 6-part drama is set in the red light district in Hamburg during the late 1970s and centers on the rise of young man who is made into a pimp by a tough prostitute and founds the “Nutella” gang.
Mark Foster & Sven Faulconer Scoring Netflix’s ‘Unstable’
Mark Foster (of the indie pop band Foster the People) has made his television scoring debut on the upcoming Netflix original series Unstable. He is collaborating with Sven Faulconer (Blood Father, The Last Ice, The Elephant Whisperers, Into the Okavango) to co-score the show created by Rob Lowe & his son John Owen Lowe and Victor Fresco (Santa Clarita Diet, Better Off Ted) and starring the Lowes themselves, Sian Clifford, Emma Ferreira and Aaron Branch. The comedy revolves around a biotech genius who tries to bounce back from the depths of grief with help from his son, who works to escape his dad’s shadow and save the family business.

Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1985 NBC movie Wallenberg: A Hero’s Story directed by Lamont Johnson and starring Richard Chamberlain, Alice Krige, Kenneth Colley, Stuart Wilson, Melanie Mayron, Bibi Andersson, David Robb and Mark Rylance. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Ernest Gold (Exodus, On the Beach, It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, Cross of Iron, Judgement at Nuremberg).
