NBC Universal will release a soundtrack album for the MSNBC documentary series Leguizamo Does America. The album features the show’s original music composed by David Murillo R. (Blast Beat, Who Killed Sara?). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 20 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Leguizamo Does America is hosted by John Leguizamo and follows the actor as he travels across the country to celebrate the rich and diverse Latino cultures in six different destinations, exploring food, music, politics, and everything in between along the way.

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ documentary series Big Beasts. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Victoria, Sanditon, The Terminal List, Collateral, Harry Brown). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 21 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Big Beasts is executive produced by Tom Hugh-Jones, Martha Holmes & Grant Mansfield and takes audiences on a journey around the globe, from freezing poles to tropical rainforests, to meet nature’s most captivating giants.
Jeff Russo Scoring Apple TV+’s ‘High Desert’
Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, The Night Of, Legion, The Umbrella Academy) has composed the original music for the upcoming Apple TV+ original series High Desert. The show is created by Nancy Fichman, Katie Ford & Jennifer Hoppe and stars Patricia Arquette, Matt Dillon, Christine Taylor, Brad Garrett, Weruche Opia, Bernadette Peters, Keir O’Donnell and Rupert Friend. The comedy directed by Jay Roach (Austin Powers, Bombshell) follows an on-again-off-again addict who decides to make a new start after the death of her beloved mother and makes a life-changing decision to become a private investigator.
Atticus Ross, Leopold Ross & Claudia Sarne Scoring FX’s ‘Dear Mama’
Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Soul, Watchmen, Gone Girl, Mank), Leopold Ross (Triple 9, Dispatches from Elsewhere) & Claudia Sarne (Shining Girls, Earthquake Bird) have composed the original score for the new FX documentary series Dear Mama. The show is directed by Allen Hughes and explores the life and legacy of hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur and his mother, the Black Panther activist Afeni Shakur. The 5-parter features archival footage and intimate conversations with those closest to the subjects.
‘Greek Salad’ Soundtrack Album Released
Amazon Content Services has released a soundtrack album for the French Amazon original series Greek Salad (Salade Grecque). The album features the show’s original music composed by Kraked Unit. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Greek Salad is created by Cédric Klapisch, in collaboration with Thomas Colineau, Agnès Hurstel, Eugène Riousse, Paul Madillo & Charlotte de Givry and stars Romain Duris, Cécile de France, Kevin Bishop, Kelly Reilly and Barnaby Metschurat. The dramedy is set twenty years after the events of 2002’s The Spanish Apartment (L’Auberge Espagnol) and follows the children of the characters Wendy and Xavier as they set off to Greece for a culture clash adventure.
First Songs from Netflix’s ‘Queenmaker’ Soundtrack Released
Genie Music has released a digital single featuring two songs from the South Korean Netflix original series Queenmaker. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services are the tracks Glass Ceiling performed by NAAKYEUM and Queen’s Parade by Park Seo Rang. Also listen to both songs after the jump. Queenmaker is created by Oh Jin-seok & Moon Ji-young and stars Kim Hee-ae, Moon So-ri and Ryu Soo-young. The political drama, which follows a powerful fixer who uses her skills to transform a civil rights lawyer into the next mayor and take down her former employer, just premiered this past Friday and is now available to stream on Netflix.
The Chemical Brothers in Talks to Score Joe Wright’s Sky Series ‘M. Son of the Century’
THR is reporting that The Chemical Brothers will be reuniting with director Joe Wright on the upcoming Sky original limited series M. Son of the Century. The show is directed by Wright (Atonement, Darkest Hour), written by Stefano Bises (ZeroZeroZero, The New Pope) & Davide Serino (The Bad Guy) based on Antonio Scurati’s best-selling novel of the same name and stars Luca Marinelli. The 8-part historical drama chronicles the rise of Benito Mussolini as told from the inside, showing how the Italian fascist leader could bewitch a nation and transform the politics of the 20th century.

The album features selections of the show’s original original score from the show’s third season composed by David Wingo (Midnight Special, Take Shelter, The Report, Mud, Loving, Mayans, M.C., Kidding). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A first soundtrack album featuring Wingo’s music from the show’s first two seasons was released last year. Barry is created by Bill Hader & Alec Berg and stars Hader himself, Stephen Root, Henry Winkler, Sarah Goldberg, Anthony Carrigan, Glenn Fleshler and Sarah Burns.
