Atticus Ross has been hired to score the upcoming crime drama Triple Nine. The film is directed by John Hillcoat and stars Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kate Winslet, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul, Teresa Palmer, Gal Gadot, Clifton Collins Jr and Norman Reedus. The movie centers around a gang of criminals and corrupt cops who plan the murder of a police officer in order to pull of their biggest heist yet across town. Matt Rook has written the screenplay. Julian Wass has been tapped to score the upcoming indie drama 6 Years. The film is written and directed by Hannah Fidell (A Teacher) and stars Taissa Farmiga, Ben Rosenfield, Lindsay Burdge, Joshua Leonard, Peter Vack and Jennifer Lafleur. The movie follows a young couple who have been together since high school and who are about to graduate from college when events threaten to tear them apart. Kelly Williams, Jonathan Duffy & Andrew Logan (Hellion) are producing the project. Mark Duplass (Cyrus, Togetherness, Jeff Who Lives at Home) serves as an executive producer.
Frederik Wiedmann Scoring ‘Batman vs. Robin’
Frederik Wiedmann has composed the music for the upcoming DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation film Batman vs. Robin. The movie is inspired by the Batman: The Court of Owls storyline from Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo and features the voices of Jason O’Mara as Batman, Sean Maher as Robin and David McCallum as Alfred. They are joined by Jeremy Sisto, Grey Griffin, “Weird” Al Yankovic, Robin Atkin Downes, Peter Onorati and Kevin Conroy. Jay Oliva who previously helmed Batman: Assault on Arkham and both parts of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns is directing the film from a script by comic writer J.M. DeMatteis.

Carter Burwell has signed on to score the upcoming comedy The Family Fang. The film marks the second directorial feature effort of Jason Bateman following last year’s Bad Words and stars the actor himself, alongside Nicole Kidman and Christopher Walken, The movie is based on a novel by Kevin Wilson and follows two siblings who grew up in a performance artist family and learn the hard way about the differences between real life and art when their parents inexplicably disappear David Lindsay-Abaire (Rabbit Hole, Oz the Great and Powerful) has written the screenplay. Daniela Taplin Lundberg & Riva Marker (The Kids Are All Right, What Maisie Knew) are producing the project for Red Crown, alongside Leslie Urdang & Dean Vanech (Beginners,Thanks for Sharing) for Olympus Pictures, Kidman & Per Saari (Rabbit Hole) for Blossom Films and Bateman & Jim Garavente for Aggregate Films.

Heitor Pereira is composing the music for the upcoming historical fantasy adventure The Moon and the Sun. The film is directed by Sean McNamara (Soul Surfer, Raise Your Voice, Spare Parts) and stars Pierce Brosnan, William Hurt, Benjamin Walker, Kaya Scodelario, Pablo Schreiber and Bingbing Fan. The movie is based on the novel of the same title by Vonda N. McIntyre and tells the story of how French king Louis XIV tries to achieve immortality by stealing the life force from a mermaid. Jeff Grace is reteaming with director Ti West on the upcoming western In a Valley of Violence. The film written and directed by West stars John Travolta, Ethan Hawke, Taissa Farmiga, Karen Gillan and James Ransone. The movie is set in the 1890s and follows drifter with nothing to lose who arrives in a small town and seeks revenge on the thugs who killed his best friend. Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Whiplash, Sinister) is producing the project through his Blumhouse production company, alongside Jacob Jaffke (Sleepwalk with Me, The Sacrament) and Peter Phok (Stake Land).

The film is directed by Peyton Reed (The Break-Up, Yes Man) and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, Judy Greer, Tip Harris, David Oastmalchian, Wood Harris, Jordi Molla and Michael Douglas. The movie follows master thief Scott Lang who must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Adam McKay (Anchorman, Talladega Nights, The Other Guys) has written the screenplay with Rudd based on on a story by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) and Joe Cornish (Attack the Block). Kevin Feige (The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy) is producing the project.

Marco Beltrami has signed on to score the upcoming reboot of The Fantastic Four. The film is directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle) and stars Miles Teller as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Susan Storm/Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm/The Thing. Toby Kebbell will be portraying Victor Domashev/Doom. Reg E. Cathey and Tim Blake Nelson are also co-starring. The movie based on the Marvel Comics series centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways and who must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
