The film is written and directed by Kelly and stars Kristen Stewart, Jim Sturgess, Laura Dern, Diane Kruger, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Courtney Love and James Jagger. The movie tells the true story of a pair of woman who created the persona of a boy-wonder author, fooling the literary community, the fashion world, and the Hollywood elite for six years before the hoax was finally revealed.

Anna Meredith Scoring Bo Burnham’s ‘Eighth Grade’
Anna Meredith is scoring the upcoming comedy Eighth Grade. The marks the feature directorial debut of Bo Burnham and stars Elsie Fisher and Josh Hamilton. The movie revolves around a thirteen-year-old girl who endures the tidal wave of contemporary suburban adolescence as she makes her way through the last week of middle school before she begins high school. Burnham also wrote the screenplay. Scott Rudin (No Country for Old Men, The Social Network), Eli Bush (Lady Bird, Top Five), Lila Yacoub (While We’re Young, Frances Ha) and Christopher Storer are producing the project.
Joe Kraemer to Score ‘The Man Who Killed Hitler and then The Bigfoot’
Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher) announced on Twitter that he will be composing the score for the upcoming drama The Man Who Killed Hitler and then The Bigfoot. The film is written and directed by Robert Krzykowski and stars Sam Elliot, Aidan Turner, Caitlin FitzGerald, Ellar Coltrane and Ron Livingston. The movie is set in 1987 and follows Calvin Barr who, decades after serving in World War II and assassinating Adolf Hitler, is contacted to lead the charge on hunting down the fabled Bigfoot who is hidden deep inside the Canadian wilderness.

Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell have been hired to score the supernatural upcoming horror thriller Slender Man. The film is directed by Sylvain White (The Losers, Stomp the Yard) and stars Joey King, Julia Goldani-Telles, Jaz Sinclair, Annalise Basso and Javier Botet. The movie is based on based on the myth created by Eric Knudsen (aka Victor Surge) and revolves around a tall, thin figure with unnaturally long arms and a featureless face who stalks, abducts and traumatizes people.
Colin Stetson Scoring Ari Aster’s ‘Hereditary’
Colin Stetson is composing the original music for the upcoming horror thriller Hereditary. The film is written and directed by Ari Aster and stars Toni Collette, Gabriel Byrne, Alex Wolff, Ann Dowd and Milly Shapiro. The movie follows the Graham family, after their reclusive grandmother passes away, as they try to escape the dark fate they’ve inherited. Kevin Frakes (American Ultra, Collateral Beauty, Laggies), Lars Knudsen (The Witch, Beginners, American Honey) and Buddy Patrick (Lee Daniels’ The Butler) are producing the project.
Johnny Klimek to Score James McTeigue’s ‘Breaking In’
Johnny Klimek has been tapped to score the upcoming thriller Breaking In. The film is directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta, Ninja Assassin, The Raven) and stars Gabrielle Union, Christa Miller, Ajiona Alexus and Billy Burke. The movie follows a woman who, after the sudden death of her father, takes her two kids to her father’s Malibu mansion to settle his estate, when four villains intent on finding the deceased’s safe and making off with its contents enter the premise. Ryan Engle (Non-Stop, The Commuter) wrote the screenplay.

Joseph Stephens is composing the score for the upcoming comedy Arizona. The film marks the directorial debut of Jonathan Watson and stars Danny McBride, Rosemarie DeWitt, Luke Wilson, Lolli Sorenson, Elizabeth Gillies and Kaitlin Olson. The movie is set in the midst of the 2009 housing crisis and follows a single mom and struggling realtor whose life goes off the rails when she witnesses a murder. Luke Del Tredici (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) wrote the screenplay.
John Williams to Compose Theme for ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’
John Williams revealed in a recent interview with Variety that he will compose the theme for the title character for the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story. As reported this past summer, John Powell is composing the score for the movie directed by Ron Howard and starring Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo. Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Return of the Jedi) and Jon Kasdan wrote the screenplay. Kathleen Kennedy (Jurassic Park, The Sixth Sense) is producing the project with Allison Shearmur (Cinderella) and Simon Emanuel (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story).
Marco Beltrami Scoring National Geographic’s ‘Free Solo’
Marco Beltrami is composing the music for the upcoming National Geographic documentary Free Solo. The film is directed by Jimmy Chin & Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi (Meru) and revolves around rock climber Alex Honnold as he is training on Freerider for the first ever rope-free climb of El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. Chin & Chai Vasarhelyi are also producing the project with Evan Hayes, Walter Parkes & Laurie MacDonald (Men in Black, The Ring, Flight) and Shannon Dill.
Nate Walcott & Mike Mogis to Score Josh Boone’s ‘The New Mutants’
Nate Walcott and Mike Mogis are reteaming with director Josh Boone on the upcoming superhero horror movie The New Mutants. The film starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Charlie Heaton, Henry Zaga, Blu Hunt and Alice Braga is based on the X-Men spin-off comic book series of the same title created by Chris Claremont & Bob McLeod and revolves around five young mutants, just discovering their abilities while held in a secret facility against their will, who fight to escape their past sins and save themselves. Boone also wrote the screenplay with Knate Lee (Kidnap).
