Benjamin Wallfisch (Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures, Annabelle Creation) is reteaming with director Andy Muschietti on the upcoming horror thriller It: Chapter Two. The film stars James McAvoy as Bill, Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Bill Hader as Richie, Jay Ryan as Ben, James Ransone as Eddie, as well as Andy Bean as Stanely Uris, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike and Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise. The movie follows the Losers’ Club as they must return to Derry, Maine, 27 years after the events from the previous movie to fight evil forces the circus unleashes on the town.

Michael Yezerski Scoring David Ayer’s ‘The Tax Collector’
Michael Yezerski (Blindspotting, Mr. Inbetween, The Devil’s Candy) is composing the original music for the upcoming crime thriller The Tax Collector. The film is written and directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad, End of Watch, Fury, Bright) and stars Shia LaBeouf, Bobby Soto, George Lopez, Brendan Schaub and Lana Parrilla. No plot details have been announced. Ayer is also producing the Cross Creek Pictures and Cedar Park Entertainment production with Chris Long (Mr. Mercedes, Rogue).
Joseph Bishara Scoring Gary Dauberman’s ‘Annabelle Comes Home’
Joseph Bishara is returning as the composer for the upcoming horror sequel Annabelle Comes Home. The film marks the directorial debut of Gary Dauberman (It, The Nun) who scripted the previous two Annabelle movies and stars McKenna Grace, Madison Iseman, Katie Sarife, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. The third installment in the Annabelle series follows the daughter of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warre (from The Conjuring franchise) who is targeted alongside her two teen babysitters by the demonic doll after they bring it home into their artifact room.
Mark Isham Scoring Gail Mancuso’s A Dog’s Journey’
Mark Isham (Crash, Once Upon a Time, A River Runs Through It, The Accountant, Fly Away Home) is scoring the upcoming family drama A Dog’s Journey. The film is directed by Gail Mancuso and stars Marg Helgenberger, Betty Gilpin, Henry Lau, Kathryn Prescott, Dennis Quaid, as well as Josh Gad as the voice of the title character. The movie is the sequel to 2017’s A Dog’s Purpose (scored by Rachel Portman) follows dog Bailey as he finds his new destiny and forms an unbreakable bond that will lead him, and the people he loves, to places they never imagined.

The film is directed by Brian Kirk and stars Chadwick Boseman, J.K. Simmons, Taylor Kitsch, Stephan James, Sienna Miller, Jamie Neumann, Keith David and Morocco Omari. The movie revolves around a disgraced NYPD detective who, after being thrust into a citywide manhunt for a cop killer, is given a shot at redemption.
Gabriel Yared Scoring Rupert Goold’s ‘Judy’
Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Cold Mountain, 1408) has composed the original music for the upcoming biographical drama Judy. The film is directed by Rupert Goold (True Story, King Charles III) and stars Renee Zellweger in the title role as Judy Garland, alongside Finn Wittrock, Jessie Buckley and Michael Gambon. The movie follows the legendary performer as she arrives in London in the winter of 1968 to perform a series of sold-out concerts. Tom Edge (Lovesick) wrote the screenplay based on the stage play End of the Rainbow by Peter Quilter.
Junkie XL to Score Tim Miller’s ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’
Junkie XL (aka Tom Holkenborg) is reteaming with director Tim Miller on Terminator: Dark Fate. The movie, which marks the sixth part in the series and is a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day, stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes and Diego Boneta. David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight, Blade) wrote the screenplay. James Cameron (Titanic, Avatar) who helmed the first two parts in the series (scored by Brad Fiedel) is producing the project with Skydance Media’s David Ellison & Dana Goldberg (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation).
Michael Abels Scoring Stefon Bristol’s ‘See You Yesterday’
Michael Abels (Get Out) is the composer of the upcoming crime drama See You Yesterday. The film is directed by Stefon Bristol and stars Eden-Duncan Smith, Danté Crichlow, Brian ‘Astro’ Bradley, Johnathan Nieves, Marsha S. Blake, Wavvy Jonez, Myra Lucretia Taylor and Ron Bobb. The movie follows two Brooklyn teenage science prodigies who build make-shift time machines to one of their brothers from being wrongfully killed by a police officer. Bristol also co-wrote the screenplay with Fredrica Bailey based on their 2017 short of the same title. Spike Lee (BlacKkKlansman, Do the Right Thing, Malcolm X) is producing the project.
Christophe Beck Scoring Lesley Chilcott’s ‘Watson’
Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, Edge of Tomorrow, The Hangover, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has recently composed the original score for the upcoming documentary Watson. The film is directed by Lesley Chilcott (CodeGirl) and centers on Captain Paul Watson who has dedicated his life to fighting for one thing: to end the slaughter of the ocean’s wildlife and the destruction of its ecosystems. Chilcott is also producing the project with Louise Runge (28 Hotel Rooms, Anything) and Wolfgang Knöpfler (The Ivory Game, Sea of Shadows).

The movie revolves around a single mother whose life is turned upside down when her sister comes home after a long unexplained absence. Chris Siverston (Marauders) wrote the screenplay.
