The film marks the feature directorial debut of actress Amy Poehler who also stars in the movie alongside Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer, Rachel Dratch, Paula Pell, Emily Spivey and Tina Fey.. The comedy revolves around a group of longtime girlfriends who go to Napa for the weekend to celebrate their friend’s 50th birthday, when tensions from the past boil over.

Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, Noah, The Fountain, Moon) confirmed in a recent interview with The 405 that he will reteam with director Ben Wheatley on the upcoming gothic thriller Rebecca. The film, which has Lily James & Armie Hammer attached to star, is based on Daphne du Maurier’s classic gothic novel and follows a newly-married young woman who, on arriving at her husband’s imposing family estate on a bleak English coast, finds herself battling the shadow of his dead first wife. Jane Goldman (Kingsman: The Secret Service, X-Men: First Class) wrote the screenplay.

The composer duo of tomandandy (The Strangers, The Mothman Prophecies, The Rules of Attraction, Resident Evil: Afterlife) is reuniting with director Johannes Roberts on the upcoming shark thriller sequel 47 Meters Down: Uncaged. The film starring Sophie Nelisse, Corinne Foxx, Brianne Tju, Sistine Stallone, Davi Santos, Khylin Rambo and John Corbett follows four teen girls diving in a ruined underwater city, who quickly find themselves in a watery hell when they learn they are not alone in the submerged caves.

Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Wonder, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said, The Door in the Floor) has recently scored the upcoming Netflix original movie Otherhood. The film is directed by Cindy Chupack (I’m Dying Up Here) and stars Angela Bassett, Patricia Arquette, Felicity Huffman, Jake Lacy, Sinqua Walls and Jake Hoffman. The romantic comedy centers on three mothers who leave their suburban life to reconnect with their estranged sons in NYC.
