The film is written and directed by Aitch Alberto and stars Max Pelayo, Reese Gonzales, Eugenio Derbez, Eva Longoria, Kevin Alejandro and Veronica Falcón. The movie is based on the bestselling novel of the same title by Benjamin Alire Sáenz and follows two Mexican American teenagers as they explore their friendship and the difficult road to self-discovery in 1987 El Paso.

John Paesano Scoring Disney+’s ‘Night at the Museum’ Animated Movie
John Paesano (Daredevil, The Maze Runner, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, The Defenders, Cheaper by the Dozen) is scoring the upcoming animated feature Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again. The film is based on the 1993 children’s book by Milan Trenc and 20th Century Fox’s live-action movie franchise (scored by Alan Silvestri) centers on Nick Daley, the son of museum nightwatchman Larry Daley (portrayed by Ben Stiller in the previous movies) as he deals with following his father’s footsteps. No casting announcements have been made yet for the Twentieth Century Fox Animation production.

Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Mad Max: Fury Road, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Deadpool, Sonic the Hedgehog, Alita: Battle Angel) is returning to score the upcoming (currently untitled) Godzilla vs. Kong sequel. The film will be directed by Adam Wingard (You’re Next, The Guest) and stars Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry and Kaylee Hottle who reprise their roles from the first movie. They are joined by new cast members Dan Stevens, Alex Ferns, Fala Chen and Rachel House.
