Dominic Lewis has been tapped to score Disney’s upcoming animated series DuckTales. The show is developed by Marc Youngberg based on the classic 80s cartoon and features the voice talent of David Tennant, Bobby Moynihan, Ben Schwartz, Danny Pudi, Kate Micucci, Toks Olagundoye, Beck Bennett, Tony Anselmo and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The series follows the adventures of millionaire Scrooge McDuck and his nephews, as they travel around the world in search of treasure and wealth. Youngberg is also executive producing the project. Ron Jones has scored all episodes of the original TV series, which premiered in 1987.

‘Interlude in Prague’ Soundtrack Released
Kill City Records has released a soundtrack album for the drama Interlude in Prague. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hybrid (Catacombs, Vice, Dead in Tombstone, Billionaire Ransom), as well as arrangements of music written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The soundtrack is now to download here. Interlude in Prague is directed by John Stephenson (Animal Farm) and stars James Purefoy, Aneurin Barnard, Samantha Barks and Morfydd Clark. The movie is set in 1787 and follows the story of a few turbulent months in the short life of Mozart that influenced the creation of the opera Don Giovanni. The drama was released in the UK last month.
‘Random Tropical Paradise’ Soundtrack Announced
Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Random Tropical Paradise. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bryce Jacobs (Drive Hard, Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story of the National Lampoon, 12 Monkeys). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 9 and will be available to download on Amazon. Random Tropical Paradise is written and directed by Sanjeev Sirpal and stars Bryan Greenberg, Brooks Wheelan, Spencer Grammer, Joe Pantoliano, Beth Littleford, Kyle Kinane, Jessica Lowe, Brittany Furlan, Caitlin McHugh and Alphonso McAuley.

The full details of the soundtrack album for Luc Besson’s fantasy adventure Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Godzilla, The Queen). Also included are the original tracks A Million On My Soul performed by Alexiane (composed & produced by Stargate), as well as Bubble Dance by Julien Rey (produced by DJ Mustard). Also featured is the movie’s opening credits song, David Bowie’s Space Oddity and Bob Marley & The Wailers’ Jamming. The soundtrack will be released on July 21, 2017 by EuropaCorp and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
Carter Burwell to Score Simon Curtis’ ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’
Carter Burwell is scoring the upcoming biographical drama Goodbye Christopher Robin. The film is directed by Simon Curtis (My Week with Marilyn, Woman in Gold) and stars Domhnall Gleeson, Margot Robbie, Will Tilston, Kelly Macdonald, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Alex Lawther. The movie revolves around the relationship between Winnie the Pooh creator A.A. Milne and his son Robin, who initially had a difficult relationship with his father, and served as the inspiration for the character of Christopher Robin. Frank Cottrell (The Railway Man, Millions) and Simon Vaughan (Watership Down, War & Peace) wrote the screenplay.

Caldera Records has announced a soundtrack album for the historical drama The Black Prince. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by George Kallis (Highlander: The Source, Albion: The Enchanted Stallion, Joy Division).
