The film’s original score is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The Royal Tenenbaums, The LEGO Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21/22 Jump Street). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as songs by Black, Bret McKenzie, Dayglow, Dirty Honey, Jamieson Shaw & BENEE last Friday. Also opening wide is the horror comedy Hell of a Summer directed by Finn Wolfhard & Billy Bryk and starring Fred Hechinger, Abby Quinn, Wolfhard & Bryk themselves, Adam Pally, Pardis Saremi, Rosebud Baker, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai and Krista Nazaire. Jay McCarrol (BlackBerry, The Kid Detective, The Dirties, Operation Avalanche) has composed the film’s original score. A soundtrack album is expected to be released in the coming weeks by Lakeshore Records. Opening in New York this week before expanding to more markets (and coming out on VOD) next Friday is the comedy Psycho Therapy: The Shallow Tale of a Writer Who Decided to Write About a Serial Killer written and directed by Tolga Karaçelik and starring Steve Buscemi, Britt Lower and John Magaro. The film’s original music composed by Nathan Klein (Ludwig, MH370: The Plane That Disappeared, The Beast Within, 101 Dalmation Street, McGregor Forever). Air-Edel Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. The film’s original music composed by Evgueni Galperine & Sacha Galperine (The Undoing, Baby Reindeer, Kraven the Hunter, Scenes from a Marriage, Loveless, Radioactive, Wizard of Lies, The Family). No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which premiered at last year’s San Sebastián Film Festival, was released in French theaters last fall and is being distributed stateside by Music Box Films.
