Stones Throw Records will release a soundtrack album for the dramatic thriller The Luckiest Man in America. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Carroll Kirby (Cryptozoo). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 2 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (The Whammy) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. The Luckiest Man in America is co-written and directed by Samir Oliveros and stars Paul Walter Hauser, Walton Goggins, Shamier Anderson, Maisie Williams, David Strathairn, Patti Harrison, Haley Bennett, Brian Geraghty, Johnny Knoxville, David Rysdahl, Ricky Russert, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Lilli Kay and James Wolk. The movie tells the true story of the most infamous episode in game show history, as an ice cream truck driver harboring a powerful secret charms his way onto Press Your Luck.The thriller premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released in select theaters today by IFC Films.
