Also premiering on Tuesday is the FX limited series American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez developed by Stu Zicherman based on the podcast Gladiator: Aaron Hernandez and Football Inc. from The Boston Globe & Wondery and starring Josh Rivera, Jaylen Barron , Lindsay Mendez, Ean Castellanos, Tammy Blanchard, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jake Cannavale, Thomas Sadoski and Norbert Leo Butz. The show’s original music is composed by David Klotz (The Watcher, The Prom). The 10-part drama, which charts the rise and fall of NFL superstar Aaron Hernandez and explores the disparate strands of his identity, his career, his family, his suicide and their legacy in sports and American culture, will air on FX and will also be available to stream on Hulu.
Premiering on Wednesday, September 18, is Marvel Television’s Disney+ limited series Agatha All Along developed by Jac Schaeffer and starring Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, Okwui Okpokwasili and Aubrey Plaza. Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, WandaVision, Frozen, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Free Guy, The Hangover) has composed the film’s original music.
