Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Black Mass, Divergent, Alita: Battle Angel) has announced that he has composed the music for the new British Netflix original series White Lines. The show is created by Álex Pina (Money Heist, Kamikaze) and stars Laura Haddock, Nuno Lopes, Marta Milans, Juan Diego Botto, Daniel Mays, Laurence Fox and Angela Griffin. The drama follows a young woman who leaves her quiet life behind to investigate her brother’s disappearance in Ibiza, where she quickly heads down a decadent and dangerous path. Pina is also executive producing the project with Andy Harries (The Crown, The Lady) and Sharon Hughff (Strike Back, The Halcyon). White Lines will premiere on May 15, 2020 on Netflix.
Holkenborg has also recently scored Tony Cervantes’ animated movie Scoob!, which will be released on VOD on May 15 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
