Roc Nation Records has released the second song from the upcoming animated feature Smurfs. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Friend of Mine  co-written (with Elijah Noll, Elkan, Jason “Tenroc” Cornet, Jonathan Bellion, Lee Stashenko & Pete Nappi) performed by Rihanna who also stars in the film as Smurfette. A CD version is available to order on Amazon. Also check out the official lyric video after the jump. The label has previously released a first track (Higher Love by Desi Trill feat. DJ Khaled, Cardi B, Natania & Subhi) from the soundtrack for the Paramount Animation production in February and will release a full soundtrack album on June 13. Smurfs is directed by Chris Miller and also stars James Corden, Nick Offerman, Kurt Russell, Daniel Levy,  JP Karliak, Natasha Lyonne, Amy Sedaris, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, Nick Kroll, Hannah Waddingham, Maya Erskine, Alex Winter, Xolo Maridueña, Billie Lourd and John Goodman. The movie (scored by Henry Jackman) will be released on July 18 by Paramount Pictures.
