Natalie Holt has been hired to score the upcoming BBC drama Press. The show is created by Mike Bartlett (Doctor Foster, King Charles III) and stars Charlotte Riley, Ben Chaplin, Priyanga Burford, Paapa Essiedu, Shane Zaza, Ellie Kendrick, Al Weaver, Brendan Cowell and David Suchet. The series centers on the news editor of a broadsheet and the editor of a tabloid newspaper, The Post and follows their lives as they attempt to balance work and play, ambition and integrity, amid the pressure of the 24-hour global news cycle and an industry in turmoil. Press will premiere later this year in the UK on BBC One and in the U.S. on PBS.

Holt (The Honourable Woman, Wallander, Three Girls) has also recently scored the war drama Journey’s End, which is currently playing in limited release in the U.S.
