Also premiering stateside tonight is the ITV original series Victoria created by Daisy Goodwin and starring Jenna Coleman, Rufus Sewell, Alex Jennings, Paul Rhys, Tom Hughes and Peter Firth. Martin Phipps (Woman in Gold, War and Peace, Peaky Blinders) and Ruth Barrett (Harry Brown, City of Tiny Lights, Hunted) have composed the show’s original music. Premiering on Wednesday, January 18, is the History original series Six created by William Broyles & David Broyles and starring Walton Goggins, Edwin Hodge, Dominic Adams, Brianne Davis, Nadine Velazquez, Jaylen Moore, Donny Boaz and Nondumiso Tembe. The show’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, The Wolverine, 3:10 to Yuma, World War Z) and Dennis Smith (Lucifer). Premiering in the U.S. on Friday, January 20, is the Canadian action adventure series Frontier created by Rob Blackie & Peter Blackie and starring Jason Momoa, Alun Armstrong, Landon Liboiron, Zoe Boyle, Allan Hawco and Jessica Matten. Andrew Lockington (San Andreas, Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, Journey to the Center of the Earth, City of Ember) has composed the original music of the show’s first season. Premiering on Saturday, January 21, is the Lifetime original movie Beaches directed by Allison Anders and starring Idina Menzel, alongside Nia Long, Gabriella Pizzolo, Grace Capeless, Jodi Capeless, Sanai Victoria and Antonio Cupo. The film’s original score is composed by Lesley Barber (Manchester By the Sea, You Can Count on Me, Mansfield Park). Warner Bros.
