Juliette Towhidi (Calendar Girls) has written the screenplay. David Heyman (Harry Potter series, Gravity, I Am Legend) and Rosie Alison are producing the Heyday Films and BBC Films production. Richter is taking over scoring duties for Mark Bradshaw who was previously attached to score the film. Testament of Youth is set to be released in 2015.

Richter is also scoring HBO’s The Leftovers, which currently airs Sunday nights and has recently been renewed for a second season. Also coming up for the composer is the romantic thriller Escobar: Paradise Lost starring Josh Hutcherson and Benicio Del Toro, which will premiere next month at the Toronto International Film Festival.
