Metropolis Music Group has set a US release of the soundtrack for the British thriller Retreat. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, Layer Cake). The score features the London Metropolitan Orchestra and Jack Liebeck on violin. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 16, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips from the album after the jump. Retreat is directed by Carl Tibbetts and stars Jamie Bell, Cillian Murphy and Thandie Newton. The film follows three people isolated from the rest of the world on a remote island, who are told they are survivors of a fatal airborne disease that is sweeping over the entire world. The thriller opened in limited release in late 2011 and is now available on DVD (click here to order the film).
