The full details of the soundtrack album for the animated feature Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Patrick Doyle (Sense and Sensibility, Thor, Cinderella, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Murder on the Orient Express). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 27, 2018 and physically on May 18 by Varese Sarabande. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD version. Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero is directed by Daniel St. Pierre and features the voices of Logan Lerman, Helena Bonham Carter and Gérard Depardieu.

Four new movies are opening nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is the action adventure Rampage directed by Brad Peyton and starring Dwayne Johnson, Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Jake Lacy, Joe Manganiello, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, P.J. Byrne and Marley Shelton. The film’s original music is composed by Andrew Lockington (San Andreas, Journey to the Center of the Earth). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score and a new track by Kid Cudi. Also opening wide is Blumhouse’s supernatural thriller Truth or Dare directed by Jeff Wadlow and starring Lucy Hale, Tyler Posey, Violett Beane, Nolan Gerard Funk, Hayden Szeto and Sophia Taylor Ali. Matthew Margeson (Kingsman: The Secret Service & The Golden Circle, Eddie the Eagle, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children) has composed the film’s original music. Patrick Doyle to Score ‘Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero’
Patrick Doyle has signed on to score the upcoming animated feature Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero. The film is directed by Daniel St. Pierre (Everyone’s Hero, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return) and tells the true story of Stubby, a stray Boston bull terrier, who forged a lasting bond with the men of the 26th “Yankee” Division at the onset of America’s involvement in World War I. Mike Stokey has written the screenplay with Richard Lanni who also serves as an executive producer. No voice cast has been announced yet.
