The track is co-written (with Sean Douglas & director Josh Greenbaum) and performed by Kristen Wiig and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘My Brilliant Friend’ Season 4 Soundtrack Album Announced
Deutsche Grammophon has released a new soundtrack album for the HBO original series My Brilliant Friend. The album features the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir, Taboo, Miss Sloane), as well as several tracks from the composer’s Recomposed By Max Richter: Vivaldi, The Four Seasons album and a cue from his score for the 2008 film Henry May Long. The label has previously released three albums featuring Richter’s music from Season 1, Season 2 & Season 3. over the last couple of years. Duncan Blickenstaff Scoring Netflix’s ‘Nobody Wants This’
Duncan Blickenstaff (It Ends with Us, Hollywood Stargirl, Alex, Inc., Outmatched) has composed the original score for the new Netflix original series Nobody Wants This. The show is created by Erin Foster (Barely Famous) and stars Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Tovah Feldshuh, Stephanie Faracy, Paul Ben-Victor, Michael Hitchcock and Jackie Tohn. The comedy follows an agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi who fall in love and have to navigate their differing outlooks on life and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families.
Timothy Williams Scoring D.J. Caruso’s ‘Mary’
Timothy Williams (Pearl, Brightburn, Agent Elvis, Walking with the Enemy, Finding You, Wild Horses) has recently recorded his score for the upcoming biblical thriller Mary. The film is directed by D.J. Caruso (Eagle Eye, Disturbia) and stars Anthony Hopkins as King Herod and Noa Cohen in the title role of Mary, as well as Ido Tako, Mila Harris and Stephanie Nur. The movie tells the coming-of-age story of the title character who is shunned following the otherworldly conception of her child and forced into hiding as King Herod’s relentless drive to maintain power at any cost ignites the pursuit of the newborn child that he believes is a threat to his reign on the throne.

Premiering tonight is the new CBS drama Matlock developed by Jennie Snyder Urman inspired by the classic 80s/90s series of the same name and starring Kathy Bates, Skye P. Marshall, Jason Ritter, Leah Lewis and David Del Rio. The show’s original music is composed by Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Wrestlers, Twisted Metal, Fright Krewe, Obliterated, Good Sam, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man). Daniel Pemberton Scoring Netflix’s ‘Black Mirror: USS Callister’ Sequel Episode
Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, Enola Holmes, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Birds of Prey) is returning to score the upcoming (currently untitled) sequel to the Black Mirror episode USS Callister. Netflix announced today that returning cast members include Cristin Milioti (as Nanette Cole), Milanka Brooks (as Elena Tulaska), Billy Magnussen (as Valdack), Osy Ikhile (as Nate Packer), Paul G. Raymond (as Kabir Dudani) and Jimmi Simpson (as James Walton). Pemberton is also scoring another (to be announced) episode of the next Black Mirror season. The composer received his first Emmy Award nomination for his score for the original Season 4 episode in 2018.
