Premiering on Tuesday, September 30, is the Hulu original series Chad Powers created by Glen Powell & Michael Waldron and starring Powell himself, Perry Mattfeld, Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, Frankie A. Rodriguez and Steve Zahn. The show’s original music is composed by Natalie Holt (Loki, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Princess, Victoria, Knightfall, The Honorouble Woman, Journey’s End, Herself, Beecham House, Press). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full album details and to learn more about the comedy, which will be available to stream exclusively on Hulu.

Premiering on Wednesday, October 1, is the crime thriller Play Dirty co-written and directed by Shane Black and starring Mark Wahlberg, LaKeith Stanfield, Rosa Salazar, Chukwudi Iwuji, Keegan-Michael Key, Nat Wolff, Thomas Jane and Tony Shalhoub. Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Avengers: Endgame, Predator, Captain America: The First Avenger, Cast Away, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Polar Express) has composed the film’s original music. ‘Ruth & Boaz’ Soundtrack EP Released

Netflix Music has released a soundtrack EP for the streamer’s original film Ruth & Boaz. The 5-track EP features the songs from the movie performed by lead actress Serayah (who stars in the title of Ruth), including a cover of the gospel classic Goodness of God (performed alongside Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds). Also included is Prayer for Your Journey written by DeVon Franklin (who also serves as a producer on the film) & Brett Nolan and performed by Franklin & K-CI. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The label has previously released the original end credits song Faithful as a digital single last week. Listen to the other four songs below. Ruth & Boaz is directed by Alanna Brown and also stars Tyler Lepley, Phylicia Rashad, Walnette Santiago, Gregory Alan Williams, Jermaine Dupri, James Lee Thomas, Nijah Brenea and Christopher Broughton.

‘Katrina: Come Hell and High Water’ Soundtrack Album Released

Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary series Katrina: Come Hell and High Water. The album features the selections of the show’s original music composed by Grammy Award winner Academy Award nominee Terence Blanchard (Malcolm X, BlacKkKlansman, Inside Man, 25th Hour, The Woman King, Perry Mason, Da 5 Bloods, Red Tails). ‘French Lover’ Soundtrack Released

Hamburger Records has released a soundtrack album for the French Netflix original film French Lover. The album features the movie’s score music composed by Guillaume Ferran (In the Name of Blood, Escort Boys, Marie-Line et son juge, À l’ancienne, Jusant). Also included is the song Wild written by the composer and featuring vocals by Adèle Wismes. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. French Lover is co-written and directed by Lisa-Nina Rives and stars Omar Sy, Sara Giraudeau, Alban Ivanov, Agnès Hurstel, Pascale Arbillot, Xavier Lacaille, Amaury De Crayencour, Cindy Bruna, Isabelle Candelier and Antoine Chappey. The romantic comedy follows a jaded actor who meets and falls in love with a down-on-her-luck waitress in Paris.

‘House of Guinness’ Soundtrack Album Details

Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the British Netflix original series House of Guinness. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, The Young Victoria, Still Alice, Layer Cake, Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, MobLand, Kick-Ass). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 26 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. House of Guinness is created by Steven Knight and stars Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O’Shea, Jack Gleeson, Niamh McCormack, Michael McElhatton, Danielle Galligan, Ann Skelly and Seamus O’Hara. The period drama is set in late 19th-century Dublin and New York following the death of the Guinness family patriarch as his four children hold the brewery’s fate in their hands.

‘Alice in Borderland’ Season 3 Soundtrack Album Released

Netflix Music has released a new soundtrack album for the Japanese Netflix original series Alice in Borderland. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s third season composed by Yutaka Yamada (Kingdom, Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyashiki, Bleach). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks after the jump. he label has previously released two album featuring Yamada’s score from Season 1 in 2020 and 2023. Alice in Borderland is based on the graphic novel of the same title by Haro Aso and stars Lento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, Hayato Isomura, Katsuya Maiguma, Ayaka Miyoshi, Koji Ohkura, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Risa Sudou, Tina Tamashiro,  Hyunri, Sakura Kiryu, Yugo Mikawa, Kotaro Daigo and Joey Iwanaga.

‘Wayward’ Soundtrack Album Details

Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the Canadian Netflix limited series Wayward. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Marie-Hélène L. Delorme (Sugar Daddy, The Mother and the Bear). The soundtrack will be released tomorrow, September 25 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to two tracks from the composer’s score below. Wayward is created by Mae Martin and stars Martin herself, Toni Collette, Sarah Gadon, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Sydney Topliffe and Brandon Jay McLaren. The 8-part thriller follows two students who – after an escape attempt from an academy for “troubled teens” –  join forces with a newly local police officer, unearthing their small town’s dark and deeply rooted secrets.

Mark Ronson to Score Greta Gerwig’s ‘Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew’

Mark Ronson has been tapped to score the upcoming Netflix original film Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew. The movie is written and directed by Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird, Little Women) and stars Emma Mackey, Carey Mulligan, David McKenna and Beatrice Campbell. The fantasy adventure is based on the sixth published (and first chronological novel) in C.S. Lewis’ book series The Chronicles of Narnia, which follows Digory and Polly as their accidental use of magical rings transports them to the creation of Narnia.

Premiering on Tuesday, September 23 is the FX original series The Lowdown created by Sterlin Harjo and starring Ethan Hawke, Keith David, Kyle MacLachlan, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Kaniehtiio Horn, Tim Blake Nelson, Michael “Killer Mike” Render and Tracy Letts. The show’s original music is composed by singer/songwriter and guitarist JD McPherson who has made his scoring debut on the project. The neo-noir crime drama, which revolves around a self-proclaimed Tulsa “truthstorian” whose obsession with the truth is always getting him into trouble, will air every Tuesday night on FX and will also be available to stream on Hulu.

Premiering on Wednesday, September 24, is the Prime Video original series Hotel Costiera created by Elena Bucaccio & Francesco Arlanch and starring Jesse Williams, Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva and Jean-Hugues Anglade. Anton Sanko (The Possession, Rabbit Hole, Ouija, Big Love, The Silent Hour, Fractured, The Half of It) has composed the show’s original music.
