The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original animated film The Twit have been revealed. The album features the movie’s original songs written by Talking Heads’ David Byrne and performed by voice cast members Margo Martindale, Euan Morton and Natalie Portman. Also included is the film’s original score composed by Oli Julian (Sex Education, Catastrophe, Renegade Nell, The Full Monty, Breeders, How to Build a Girl). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 17 by Netflix Music and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to several songs and a score track below. The label has previously released the end titles song Open the Door written and performed by Byrne & Hayley Williams as digital single last week.The Twits is directed by Phil Johnston, co-directed by Katie Shanahan & Todd Demong and also stars Johnny Vegas, Emilia Clarke, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Ryan Lopez, Timothy Simons, Jason Mantzoukas, Nicole Byer, Alan Tudyk, Charlie Berens, Rebecca Wisocky and Mark Proksch. The movie is based on Roald Dahl’s classic novel and follows two brave children who team up with a family of magical animals to bring down group of villains who are taking over their town. The animated comedy will premiere tomorrow on Netflix and is also being released in select theaters on the same day.
