Rupert Gregson-Williams is set to score the upcoming Netflix original movie The Do Over. The comedy is directed by Steven Brill (Mr. Deeds, Without a Paddle, Little Nicky) and stars Adam Sandler, David Spade, Paula Patton, Nick Swardson and Luis Guzman. The film follows two down-on-their-luck guys who decide to fake their own deaths and start over with new identities, only to find the people they’re pretending to be are in even deeper trouble. Chris Pappas (Unhitched) and Kevin Barnett (Hall Pass, The Heartbreak Kid) have written the screenplay.

‘Orange Is the New Black’ Seasons 2 & 3 Soundtrack Announced
Universal Music will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Orange Is the New Black. The album features a selections of songs from the show’s second and third season by artists including 50 Cent, Ike & Tina Turner, Foreigner, The Dead Milkmen, Atmosphere, Eliza Noxon, Sharon Clark, Martha Wainwright, Deep Blue Something & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 21, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the songs from the first season and Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack featuring the show’s original score. Orange Is the New Black is created by Jenji Kohan and stars Taylor Schilling as an engaged Brooklynite whose wild past comes back to haunt her and results in her arrest and detention in a federal penitentiary.
Soundtrack Details Announced for Netflix’s ‘Narcos’
Lakeshore Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Narcos. The album features the show’s original music composed by Pedro Bromfman (RoboCop, Elite Squad). Also included is the main titles song Tuyo performed by Brazilian artist Rodrigo Amarante. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 21, 2015 and physically in September. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD. Narcos is created by Jose Padhila and stars Wagner Moura as Pablo Escobar, alongside Pedro Pascal, Boyd Holbrook, Juan Pablo Raba, Joanna Christie, Stephanie Sigman, Manolo Cardona, André Mattos, Luis Guzman and Ana de la Reguera.
‘Tig’ Soundtrack Released
A soundtrack album has been released for the documentary Tig. The album features the film’s original music composed by Guster frontman Ryan Miller (Safety Not Guaranteed, The Kings of Summer, In a World…). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Tig is directed by Kristina Goolsby & Ashley York and centers on comedian Tig Notaro who found herself on stage in 2012 when she opened her standup set at Largo in Los Angeles with the line “Good evening. Hello. I have cancer.” The movie features appearances by Sarah Silverman and Zach Galifianakis, among others.
Varese Sarabande to Release ‘House of Cards’ Season 3 and ‘The Affair’ Season 1 Soundtracks
Varese Sarabande will release the third soundtrack album for the Netflix original series House of Cards starring Kevin Spacey & Robin Wright. The album features selections of the show’s original music from the third season composed by Jeff Beal (Rome, Carnivale, Monk) who recently received his fourth Emmy Award nomination for his work on the show. The soundtrack will be released as a 2-CD set on October 2, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label will also release the first soundtrack album for the critically acclaimed Showtime original series The Affair created by Hagai Lemi & Sarah Treem and starring Dominic West, Ruth Wilson, Maura Tierney and Joshua Jackson.

The comedy is inspired by Gaffigan’s real life and chronicles one man’s struggle in New York City to find a balance between fatherhood, stand-up comedy and an insatiable appetite. Sean Callery to Score Marvel’s ‘Jessica Jones’
Sean Callery revealed at the Comic-Con composer panel Behind the Music: Crime, Death and Resurrection that he is scoring Netflix’s upcoming original series Marvel’s Jessica Jones. The show is developed and executive produced by Melissa Rosenberg and stars Krysten Ritter in the title role, alongside Mike Colter, David Tennant, Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty and Wil Traval. The series based on the Marvel Comics character follows Jones following a brief superhero career as she is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.

The film is directed by Frank Coraci (Click, The Waterboy, The Wedding Singer) and stars Adam Sandler, Taylor Lautner, Nick Nolte, Will Forte, Rob Schneider, Blake Shelton, Whitney Cummings, Steve Buscemi, Luke Wilson, Steve Zahn, Danny Trejo, Chris Parnell, Lavell Crawford, Dan Aykroyd, Nick Swardson, Terry Crews, Jon Lovitz and Vanilla Ice. No plot details have been announced yet, but the movie is said to be a comedic take on westerns.

Fil Eisler (Empire, Revenge, Shameless) has composed the show’s original music. UnReal is based on Shapiro’s short Sequin Raze and follows a young staff member on a hit competition dating show who does everything she can to help please the show’s executive producer. Johnny Klimek & Tom Tykwer Scoring ‘A Hologram for the King’ and Netflix’s ‘Sense8’
Johnny Klimek and Tom Tykwer are composing the score for the upcoming comedy drama A Hologram for the King. The film is directed by Tykwer (Run Lola Run, The International) and stars Tom Hanks, Sarita Choudhury, Omar Elba, Tracey Fairaway, David Menkin and Tom Skerritt. The movie is based on the novel by Dave Eggers takes place in an up-and-coming Saudi Arabian city that provides the backdrop for a foundering American businessman’s last-ditch effort to stave off bankruptcy, pay his daughters college fees, and finally accomplish something big. Tykwer also wrote the screenplay.
