Villa Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Children of the Enemy. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lisa Nordström (Sonica Sequence). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 23 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Children of the Enemy is directed by Gorki Glaser-Müller, produced by Kristofer Henell & Erika Malmgren and chronicles the journey of a Swedish-Chilean man to a Syrian prison camp to free his grandchildren, after their parents  – members of the Islamic State terrorist group – are killed. Sakamoto has contributed the film’s theme, which has been released as part of the composer’s vinyl box set 2020S earlier this year. Matsumiya has composed the score for the movie written and directed by Kogonada (Columbus) and starring Colin Farrell, Jodie Turner-Smith, Justin Min, Sarita Choudhury, Haley Lu Richardson and Clifton Jones, Jr.. The drama is based on the short story Saying Goodbye to Yang by Alexander Weinstein and tells the story of a father and daughter as they try to save the life of their robotic family member. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1989 romance fantasy drama Always directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Richard Dreyfuss, Holly Hunter, John Goodman, Brad Johnson and Audrey Hepburn. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the Universal Pictures/Amblin Entertainment production composed and conducted by John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, E.T.), including previously unreleased music and alternate cues. The CD, which is limited to 3,500 copies, will be available to order on the label’s official website at noon today. Altitude Films has announced that composer Jim Williams (Possessor, Sightseers, Beast, Kill List, A Field in England) is reteaming with director Julia Ducournau on the upcoming French horror thriller Titane. The film is written and directed by Ducournau and stars Agathe Rousselle, Vincent Lindon, Laïs Salameh and Garance Marillier. The movie revolves around a father who is reunited with his son who disappeared ten years ago following a series of unexplained crimes.
