Quartet Records has announced several new soundtrack albums including a new 3-CD set featuring the complete scores for the last three films in the original The Pink Panther franchise directed by Blake Edwards: 1982’s Trail of the Pink Panther, 1983’s Curse of the Pink Panther and 1993’s Son of the Pink Panther. The Pink Panther Final Chapters Collection features remastered versions of the scores for Trail & Curse composed by Academy Award winner Henry Mancini (Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Charade, Santa Claus: The Movie, The Thorn Birds, The Great Mouse Detective,Victor/Victoria) on the first two discs and the composer’s complete expanded score for Son of the Pink Panther (including previously unreleased music) on the third disc. The full details of the soundtrack album for Ridley Scott’s crime drama House of Gucci have been revealed. The album features a selection of the songs from the movie by artists such as George Michael, Donna Summer, David Bowie, Miguel Bosé, Blondie, New Order, Eurythmics, Annie Lennox, David Stewart & others. Also included is a score suite by the film’s composer Harry Gregson-Williams (The Martian, The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, Kingdom of Heaven, The Last Duel). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 8 by Interscope and Decca Records and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
