Ilan Rubin (Monsters of California, Bobcat Moretti) has released a soundtrack album for the romantic comedy drama In Fidelity. The album features the film’s original music written by the singer/songwriter, composer and Nine Inch Nails drummer now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Music Box Records has announced the premiere CD release of the soundtrack for the 1984 French action comedy The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak (Gwendoline) written and directed by Just Jaeckin and starring Tawny Kitaen, Brent Huff and Zabou. The album features the film’s newly remastered original score composed by Pierre Bachelet (Emmanuelle, The Story of O, Les Bronzés font du ski). Also included is the composer’s previously unreleased music for the 1974 feature La Soubrette perverse directed by José Benazéraf, as well as the cult instrumental hit OK Chicago performed by the band Resonance (aka Pierre Bachelet & Mat Camison). Hamburger Records has released a soundtrack EP for the French comedy drama Eternal Playground (La Récréation de Juillet). The 6-track EP features the film’s original music composed by the French indie pop band Kids Return. The movie based on the short Cuerda (Strings) is set in 1886 America and tells the story of two Irish siblings who arrive on an ocean liner to New York City where their uncle was meant to pick them up, when they decide to stow away on the Transcontinental Railroad in the hopes of making it to California to find him.
