La-La Land Records has announced two new soundtrack albums, including the fourth volume in the label’s Goldsmith at 20th series. The album features two classic scores from 20th Century Fox productions composed by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The OmenStar Trek: The Motion Picture, Planet of the Apes, ChinatownPatton): 1973’s Ace Eli and Rodger of the Skies directed by John Erman and starring Cliff Robertson, Eric Shea & Pamela Franklin and 1970’s Tora! Tora! Tora! directed by Richard Fleischer, Toshio Masuda & Kinji Fukasaku and starring Martin Balsam, Joseph Cotten, So Yamamura, James Whitmore and E.G. Marshall. The 2-CD set features Goldsmith’s Ace Eli score in mono, as well as additional music with contributions from Alexander Courage on the first disc, and the content of La-La Land’s previous Tora! Tora! Maisie Music Publishing will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film There’s Someone Inside Your House. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Zachary Dawes (Big Time AdolescenceThe Peanut Butter Falcon, Generation, Deep Murder, Company Town). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 6 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. John M. Keane (The Amazing Race, Another Way to Die, Martial Law) is returning as the composer for the new CBS drama CSI: Vegas. The show is created by Jason Tracey (Elementary, Burn Notice) and stars William Petersen & Jorja Fox (who are reprising their roles from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), as well as Paula Newsome, Matt Lauria, Mandeep Dhillon and Mel Rodriguez. The series follows a brilliant new team of investigators who must enlist the help of old friends when an existential threatens to bring down the entire Crime Lab and release thousands of convicted killers back onto the neon-lit streets of Vegas. Daniel Rojas (Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts) has been tapped to score the upcoming Hulu animated series Marvel’s Hit-Monkey. The show is created by Josh Gordon & Will Speck (Blades of Glory, Office Christmas Party, The Switch) based on the Marvel Comics characters and features the voices of Fred Tatasciore, Jason Sudeikis, George Takei, Ally Maki, Nobi Nakanishi and Olivia Munn. The series follows a Japanese snow monkey who joins forces with the ghost of an American assassin after his tribe is slaughtered, and together, they begin killing their way through the Yakuza underworld. The film is directed by George Clooney and stars Ben Affleck, Tye Sheridan, Christopher Lloyd, Lily Rabe, Sondra James, Max Martini and Max Casella. Linda Cohen serves as the music supervisor of the movie, which is based on the best-selling memoir of the same name by J.R. Moehringer and tells the story of fatherless boy growing up in the glow of a bar where the bartender is the sharpest and most colorful of an assortment of quirky and demonstrative father figures.
