Lionsgate Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Acapulco. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Bo Boddie (GLOWFresh Off the BoatLady of the Manor). The label has previously released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from Season 1 last fall. Sarah Warne Scoring ITV’s ‘Our House’

Sarah Warne (HumansDes, Time, Hollington Drive, The Drowning, Dark Money) has recently scored the new ITV drama Our House. The show is written by Simon Ashdown (EastEnders) based on the best-selling novel by Louise Candlish and stars Tuppence Middleton, Martin Compston, Bram Lawson, Weruche Opia and Buket Komur. The 4-part thriller follows a woman who arrives home one day to find a family of strangers moving into her house and – together with her husband – tries to make sense of the events that led to a devastating crime. SATV has released a soundtrack album for the Sky original docuseries Devil’s Advocate: The Mostly True Story of Giovanni Di Stefano. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Nick Foster (Thunderbirds Are GoThe A ListMisha and the Wolves, In My Skin, Year of the Rabbit). Devil’s Advocate is directed by Sam Hobkinson and tells the story of the fraudulent lawyer – whose claimed clients included Saddam Hussein – before it emerged he had no license or qualifications. Premiering tonight is the HBO original series Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty created by Max Borenstein & Jim Hecht and starring John C. Reilly , Quincy Isaiah, Jason Clarke, Adrien Brody, Gaby Hoffman, Tracy Letts, Jason Segel, Julianne Nicholson, Rob Morgan and Sally Field. The show’s original music is composed by Nicholas Britell (Succession, Moonlight, The Big Short, Don’t Look Up, Cruella, If Beale Street Could Talk) & Robert Glasper (The Photograph, Miles Ahead, Bel-Air). Also premiering today is the Starz original series Shining Vale created by Jeff Astrof & Sharon Horgan and starring Courteney Cox, Greg Kinnear, Mira Sorvino, Gus Birney, Merrin Dungey, Dylan Gage, Judith Light and Sherilyn Fenn. Tim Phillips (Ackley Bridge, Shameless, Partners in Crime) is composing the show’s original music. The horror comedy, which follows a family moving to a small town into a house in which terrible atrocities have taken place, is premiering today with new episodes dropping every Sunday on Starz. Tom Hodge (The Mauritanian, Je Suis Karl, Pump, Rise of the Nazis) has composed the original score for the new ITV drama The Ipcress File. The show is written by John Hodge (Trainspotting, The Beach) based on the Len Deighton novel of the same title and stars Joe Cole, Lucy Boynton, Tom Hollander and Ashley Thomas. The 6-part spy thriller is set in the 1960s amid the highly charged atmosphere of the Cold War and follows a British army sergeant on the make in Berlin whose varied interests bring him into contact with everything and everyone – until the law catches up with him and it all comes crashing to a halt. Plaza Mayor Company will release a soundtrack album for the Lebanese drama Broken Keys (Le Dernier Piano). The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English PatientThe Talented Mr. Ripley, Cold Mountain, Judy, Betty Blue, 1408). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 1, 2022 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is available to order here. Broken Keys is written and directed by Jimmy Keyrouz and stars Tarek Yaacoub, Sara Abi Kanaan and Adel Karam. The movie tells the true story of a young pianist trying to leave his war-torn Middle-East neighborhood and aspiring to a career in Europe, who struggles to rebuild his piano after it was destroyed by a leader of the Islamic state. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the superhero movie The Batman co-written and directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz,  Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, John Turturro, Andy Serkis, Peter Sarsgaard, Jayme Lawson and Colin Farrell. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (UpLost, Jurassic World, Star TrekSpider-Man: No Way Home, The IncrediblesRatatouille, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story). The album features three new original songs (They Came, They Danced, City Lights and Maybe Monica) written for the series by Thomas Mizer & Curtis Moore  Also included are tracks by Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland & Fred Astaire, Doris Day, The Barry Sisters, Patience & Prudence, Blossom Dearie & others.
