Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is the original song By My Side written and produced by the show’s co-composer Daniel James Chan (Supergirl, Emergence), featuring lyrics by Leah Poulliot and performed by Shayan Sobhian, as well as the cover version of Dead or Alive’s You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) performed by Jonathan Walton and produced by Eldad Guetta. Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for the thriller The Outfit. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,The King’s Speech, The Queen, The Imitation Game, Godzilla, Philomena). The soundtrack is expected to be released digitally next Friday, March 18 (click here to stream/download the album). A CD version is scheduled to come out on April 8 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Varese Sarabande has announced a new soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s 2014 sequel How to Train Your Dragon 2 directed by Dean DeBlois and starring Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jonah Hill, T.J. Miller and Kristen Wiig. The album features the film’s expanded original score composed by Academy Award nominee John Powell (The Bourne Identity, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Happy Feet, Bolt, X-Men: The Last Stand, Shrek, Chicken Run), including previously unreleased music. The 2-CD deluxe edition set, which is limited to 2,000 copies, is now available to order on Amazon and the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples. A24 Music will release the official soundtrack album for Ti West’s horror movie X. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2,Watchmen, 300, John Wick, The Punisher) and singer/songwriter Chelsea Wolfe.
