MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the western Hostile Territory. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Koutselinis (The Great Alaskan Race). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 22 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Hostile Territory is written and directed by Brian Presley and stars Presley himself, Craig Tate, Natalie Whittle, Lew Temple, Matt McCoy and Brad Leland. The movie is set in post-civil war America and tells the story of a Union soldier who is presumed dead as a POW and whose children are mistakenly sent away on an orphan train to be placed in a new home. The film is directed by Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect, Sisters) and stars Jennifer Lopez, Josh Duhamel, Jennifer Coolidge, Sonia Braga, Cheech Marin, Selena Tan and Lenny Kravitz. The movie revolves around a couple whose extravagant destination wedding is hijacked by criminals and rediscover why they fell in love in the first place. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack release for the 1982 comedy Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid co-written and directed by Carl Reiner and starring Steve Martin, Rachel Ward, Alan Ladd, Reiner himself and Reni Santoni. The 2-CD set, which is being released as part of Universal Pictures’ Film Music Classics Collection features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Miklós Rózsa (Ben-HurSpellboundQuo VadisKing of Kings, The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes, Ivanhoe), including the complete score on the first disc and additional scoring cues and alternates on the second disc. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Brandon Campbell (The Letter for the King, Slender ManThe ThinningAmazing Stories). The movie is directed by Tobias Lindholm (A Hijacking, The Investigation) and stars Jessica Chastain, Eddie Redmayne, Nnamdi Asomugha, Noah Emmerich, Kim Dickens, Malik Yoba and Alix West Lefler.
