Pathé Films has released a digital version of the (expanded) soundtrack album for the 1997 film adaptation of Vladmir Nabokov’s novel Lolita directed by Adrianne Lyne and starring Jeremy Irons. Dominique Swain, Melanie Griffith and Frank Langella. The album features the film’s original music composed, orchestrated and conducted by Academy Award winner Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Mission, The Hateful Eight, The Untouchables, Once Upon a Time in America, Cinema Paradiso). Tommy Reilly Scoring BBC’s ‘Nightsleeper’

Tommy Reilly (Anna and the Apocalypse, Our Ladies, Dinosaur) is making his solo television scoring debut on the new BBC drama Nightsleeper. The show is created by Nick Leather (Murdered for Being Different, The Control Room) and stars Alexandra Roach, Joe Cole, Alex Ferns, James Cosmo, Sharon Small, David Threlfall, Lois Chimimba, Daniel Cahill, Gabriel Howell, Leah MacRae, Katie Leung, Scott Reid, Ruth Madeley, Pamela Nomvete, Adam Mitchell, Sharon Rooney and Parth Thakerar. The 6-part thriller follows an off-duty police officer who is a passenger on a train that gets ‘hackjacked’ while traveling from Glasgow to London and has to work together with the acting technical director at the National Cyber Security Centre to work out who is behind this. The film is directed by Max Minghella and stars Elisabeth Moss, Kate Hudson, Kaia Gerber, Arian Moayed, Este Haim, Elizabeth Berkley, Lionel Boyce, Peter MacNicol, Amy Landecker and Ziwe. The movie revolves around an actress who is given an opportunity to get a free trial at a pioneering health and beauty company which promises to keep its clients looking young forever and – after a group of other patients go missing under mysterious circumstances – challenges the firm’s CEO over her questionable science. Siddhartha Khosla has won his first Emmy Award for his score for the episode Sitzprobe from the third season of the Hulu original series Only Murders in the Building in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series category at tonight’s second night of the 76th Creative Prime Emmy Awards. Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman received an Emmy for the song Which of the Pickwick Triplets Did It? from the same Only Murders in the Building episode. Carlo Rafael Rivera won his third Emmy Award in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie or Special category for his score from the episode Book of Calvin of the Apple TV+ series Lessons in Chemistry.
